MSI announces nForce4 SLI XE mobo

MSI today announced its first socket 775 motherboard based on Nvidia’s nForce4 SLI XE, which supports x16 bandwidth, but only x8 when operating with two graphics cards. The P4N SLI XE offers 1066 MHz FSB, four DIMM sockets for up to 4 GB of DDR2-667 memory, four Serial ATA 3 Gb/s ports, eight-channel HD audio and Gigabit LAN. The board also includes CoreCell tuning technology and a Communication PCI slot that can be used to connect MSI’s proprietary dual-band network card interface.
