ATI Announces Turion 64 X2 Chipset

The Radeon Xpress 1100 series features support for DDR2-667 memory, 1 GHz Hyper-Transport bus, seven PCI slots, four PCI Express x1 slots, two PATA and four SATA ports, eight USB ports and eight-channel audio (AC’97). Video is provided by an integrated Radeon X1300 graphics chip compatible with DirectX 9, but not with Shader Model 3.0. The GPU is clocked at 300 MHz in the 1100 model and at 400 MHz in the 1150.
