ASUS announced today 4 new motherboards designed especially for Windows Vista, once it is packed with ScreenDUO (which provides a secondary display panel), AI Remote, AP Trigger (to quickly boot or resume media or other applications), TPM (Trusted Platform Module, which provides enhanced data protection and security via high-level encryption / decryption) and ASAP (ASUS Accelerated Propeller, which improves system performance under Microsoft Windows Vista). VIA unveils the EPIA EX series, the first to feature the VIA CX700M2 advanced system media processor with enhanced audio and video technologies.

Targeted for x86-based consumer electronics, the new Mini-ITX mainboard has an operating power consumption of less than 14W.

Motherboard ASUS releases the 'Commando', a new addition to its R.O.G (Republic of Gamers) family of gaming motherboards.It is powered by Intel P965 Express Chipset and supports up to 8 GB dual-channel DDR2 architecture, ATI Crossfire Graphics and 6 SATA II 3 Gb/s. ASUS Will Offer TeleSky Adaptor With 2 Motherboards

ASUS announced that the TeleSky telecom adaptor will now be available with two motherboards: M2N/TeleSky and P5B/TeleSky. The adaptor converts house phones into VoIP phones, integrated for traditional PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) and Skype VoIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) calls.

With one jack connected to the house phone and the other linked to the ground telephone line, the TeleSky can switch the house phone connection between PSTN and VoIP networks. Users can also use the house phone to operate Skype functions, including SkypeIn, SkypeOut, Skype Conference, call waiting, speed-dial, and 3-way telephoning. The TeleSky supports both corded and cordless telephones.
