Biostar launches GeForce 7 series motherboards

Biostar has just launched new GeForce 7 series-based motherboards supporting Intel's upcoming 45nm processors. Two boards were launched: TF7150U-M7 and TF7100P-M7. On the table below you can see the specifications for each them.

New Gigabyte Motherboards supporting Opteron “Barcelona”

Gigabyte has launched three new motherboards supporting quad-core AMD Opteron processors codenamed “Barcelona”:

  • GA-3CESL-RH is a motherboard targeted to the server market and is equipped with nVidia nForce Professional 3600 MCP chipset, two PCI Express x16 slots, one PCI Express x8 slot (working at x4), two standard PCI slots, six SATA ports supporting RAID 0/1/5 and one ATA/100 port.
  • GA-3CCWV-RH is a motherboard targeted to the workstation market and is equipped with nVidia MCP55 pro chipset, one PCI Express x16 slot, one PCI Express x8 slot (supporting SLI x8 mode), one PCI-X slot, one standard PCI slot, six SATA ports supporting RAID 0/1/10/5 and one ATA/133 port.
  • GA-3CCWL-RH has the same basic specifications as GA-3CCWV-RH, except for the PCI-X slot, but on the other hand GA-3CCWL-RH has an x4 PCI Express slot.

Motherboard ASUS has just launched P5NT WS, a socket 775 motherboard based on nVidia nForce 680i LT SLI chipset and supporting forthcoming 45 nm Intel processors. This motherboard supports DDR2 memory up to 800 MHz, it has three PCI Express x16 slots, one PCI-X slot, two PCI Express x1 slots, one standard PCI slot, Gigabit Ethernet and 8-channel audio produced by Realtek ALC888 codec.

ASUS Launches Socket AM2+ Motherboards

ASUS has just launched its first motherboard compatible with the forthcoming AMD processors based on K10 architecture: M2A-VM. This is a socket AM2+ motherboard, which is a socket AM2 supporting HyperTransport 3.0 and separated power sources for the CPU and its memory controller (a.k.a. Dual Dynamic Power Management, DDPM, or “split-plane” technology). ASUS also announced a list with others motherboards that will be able to support next-generation AMD CPUs after applying BIOS updates.

FOXCONN Unleashes Mars Motherboard

Motherboard FOXCONN announced its new motherboards's series Quantum Force. MARS is its first product and, acording to the manufacturer, its first true overclocking motherboard, dedicated to gaming enthusiasts.

Based on the Intel P35 chipset. One reason for the great overclocking potential of MARS is the Gladiator BIOS, which features a voltage multiplier for accessing a much wider range of voltage settings, advanced memory timing configuration and instant overclocking options for novices.

MSI launches its latest P35 Diamond motherboard based on Intel P35 Express chipset and the new-generation DDR3 structure. It supports the latest Intel FSB1333 and the upcoming 45nm multi-core processors which include Core 2 Quad/Duo/Extreme and other Intel processors based on Core architecture.The P35 Diamond also supports Dual Channel DDR3-1333/1066/800, 7.1 X-Fi Xtreme Audio, MSI SkyTel VoIP function and Gigabit LAN. The new mobo is equipped with a fanless cooling design called “Circu-Pipe”, which offers a heat reduce efficiency of more than 20% after 2 hours full-load operation.
