Creative Technology introduced the Creative Live! Cam Optia webcam, its first USB Video Class webcam with Plug-n-Play and no driver installation required for PC systems using Windows XP Service Pack 2 and above. It has Precision Lens, which promisses and increase in video clarity and sharper images. It also offers a technology called 'Creative Smart Face Tracking'for an automatic tracking of the user's face movements to keep the face constantly in the video frame. It brings 8 categories of special visual effects, including Backdrops and Distortion. The webcam is equipped with a VGA CMOS sensor and captures video images at up to 640 X 480 resolution and photos at up to 1.3 megapixel interpolated resolution. It brings USB 2.0 connectivity.

The ADSTech's Instant FM Music is a USB stick which allows you to record radio or Web stations and identify the songs that are playing. Consumers can also playback Recordings on PC or on an portable music player. The Instant FM Music uses the Snaptune One software to receive information about the music you are listening to, such as artist names, song titles, album art, artist news from Google and locate concert tickets.

TerraTec Electronic unveils the new The Headset Master 5.1 USB 2.0, which comes with six channels that adjust individually, once it has separate volume control for each channel. The headset also features a subwoofer with a bass vibrator and a high-quality removable microphone with mute function. A software equalizer and a karaoke effect are also part of the package. Suggested price: US$ 75.

A4Tech, a Korean retailer, announced an optical mouse designed to work in any surface, including the clear ones. The Glaser Mouse X6-70D gets along with desktop surfaces, mousepads, pant legs or freshly-cleaned glass. It features a '2XClick button', so consumers can programme the mouse to play softwares with just one click, instead of double click. It also has an 'Office' button that launches a map with pre-programmed softwares to be easily accessible.

Dell Offers 20.1-inch Monitor at USD 289

Dell has announced a LCD widescreen flat-panel monitor with 20.1-inch at a very attractive USD 289 price. With a 5 ms response time, the E207WFP features DVI connector with HDCP and resolution of 1,680 x 1,050 (SXGA+). On the other hand, it doesn't have USB hub, composite and S-Video inputs. The E207WFP will be available for sale on Dell's website on October 17th.

Logitech unveiled the diNovo Edge keyboard, which has a minimalist style (you can see that in the limited number of buttons), a backlighted icons embedded within the keyboard (to show which key mode you're in) and a touch-sensitive navigation and scroll panel (including a volume touchpad). It features an integrated battery and Bluetooth connectivity. It is expected to be available beginning in November for a suggested retail price of USD 199.99.
