Razer Launches Diamondback 3G Mouse

Razer launches the third generation of its Diamondback mouse. This new incarnation of the Razer Diamondback uses the most advanced infrared sensor (with 1800dpi), says manufacturer. Diamondback 3G also features a new rubberized non-slip finish, providing a more tactile feel, for quicker responses. It allows 6400 frames per second (5.8 megapixels per second), Scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions, and USB connectors. It will retail for USD 59.99 USD beggining on August 1.

Logitech Intros MX Air Mouse

Logitech has introduced the MX Air mouse, a laser mouse that works on the desk and in the air, similar to the way people use a remote to control a television.

The new mouse combines three technologies – Freespace motion-control, gesture command and wireless. In place of a scroll wheel, the MX Air mouse features a touch-sensitive scroll panel. A swipe of the finger across the surface enables the inertial scrolling mechanism, which adjusts its speed according to the speed of the finger swipe.

The rechargeable MX Air mouse uses Logitech's 2.4 GHz digital cordless technology, which offers a range of up to 30 feet. Its suggested retail price in the US is USD 149.99.

Microsoft unveils Natural Ergonomic Desktop 7000, which comes with an innovative shape of the keyboard and mouse to "encourage a more natural hand, wrist, and forearm posture", says manufacturer. The mouse features 4-way scrolling, zoom function, five customizable buttons and battery life indicator. 

It also has a 2.4 GHz wireless USB mini-transceiver which provides up to 30 feet of wireless range.

Kensington has launched the Ci Lifestyle Collection of wireless mouse and keyboard. The five mouse have different colors and some different functions. The Ci85 model,green and wjite, instantly connect with your notebook and just need and Express Card slot. All of them are up to 30% thinner than a standard notebook mouse and has automatic sleep state to conserve power and protect the optical sensor.Suggested retail price from USD 34,99 to USD 39,99.

Microsoft Announces Wireless Laser Desktop 4000

Microsoft Hardware announced the launch of the Wireless Laser Desktop 4000. It includes the Comfort Curve Keyboard design and a high definition laser mouse. The most interesting feature is the one-touch access to Windows Vista and Windows Live.

The Start Button launches the Windows Start menu; the Gadget Button provides information such as weather, news, stock quotes and more; the LiveCall Button starts an instant messaging session or a video call; the zoom allows users zoom in and out of pictures.

It also features 'My Favorites Keys', which deliver one-touch access to users most-used Web sites, files and folders and the 'Customizable Hot Keys', to launch some of the favorite programs.

The Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 will be available in April 2007 for an estimated retail price of USD 79.95.
