Razer launched today Abyssus gaming mouse targeted to gamers. This mouse supports three configurations level of dpi (450 dpi, 1,800 dpi or 3,500 dpi), has an ambidextrous design, three programmable buttons, a scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions and an 1 ms response time. Razer Abyssus gaming mouse is priced at USD 49.99.

Cooler Master Launches Gaming Mouse

Cooler Master has just launched its first gaming mouse under CM Storm brand (Cooler Master gaming line-up), Sentinel Advance. This mouse has a 5,600 DPI sensor, an onboard 64 KB memory to store five different profiles and a modularized weight system that can be configured between 139 to 161.5 g in increments of 4.5 g. Also, you can display logos on the mouse uploaded via the PC. No word on pricing and availability.

Microsoft Announces SideWinder X3 Gaming Mouse

Microsoft has announced its newest member within SideWinder gaming product family, SideWinder X3 mouse. With an ambidextrous design and eight buttons (five of them programmable), this optical USB 2.0 mouse has three dpi configurations (400 dpi, 800 dpi and 2,000 dpi) and supports acceleration of up to 20 G. According to Microsoft SideWinder X3 mouse will reach the market next month costing USD 39.95.

Sharkoon has extended its Rush product line with the inclusion of FireGlider gaming mouse. Featuring an ergonomic design and supporting six dpi configuration levels (600 dpi, 800 dpi, 1200 dpi, 1600 dpi, 2000 dpi and 3600 dpi), this USB 2.0 mouse has seven buttons (six of them are programmable) and an embedded memory for macros. It also features a weight adjusting system up to 19.5 g (0.69 oz), an Agilent ADNS-6010 laser sensor and supports acceleration up to 20 G. This product is priced at € 25.

OCZ has increased its Alchemy peripheral line-up with the launch of Alchemy Illuminati keyboard. This USB 2.0 keyboard has 14 multimedia and Internet hotkeys, weights 1.87 lb (850 g), has a ergonomic design and the choice of two backlit colors (blue or red) making it easier to use the keyboard in low light environments. So far no word on pricing and availability.

QPAD Launches Gaming Headset

QPAD is a company known by its gaming mouse pads and now they decided to enter on gaming peripherals market with the launch of a headset. This device was developed in collaboration with a German-based company called Beyerdynamic. QPAD Headset is hooked up on micro thru a USB port, has response frequency between 5 Hz and 30 KHz, and mike with noise cancelation. No word on pricing and availability was disclosed.

Logitech Launches G13 Advanced Gameboard

With the goal to make the gamers’ experience more enjoyable Logitech has launched G13 advanced gameboard, a hybrid gaming keyboard featuring an ergonomic design with 25 programmable keys, a programmable analog stick and a 160x43-pixel GamePanel LCD that shows live game stats, system info and even messages from other players. G13 gameboard offers up to 87 ways for you to control your game (software installation required). You can set up custom button-profiles for each one of your favorite titles. You can even create macros on the fly without having to pause your game. This product will reach the market later this month and will cost about US$ 80. It is interesting to notice that this product does not replace your traditional keyboard, as it features only the keys that you will be needing for playing games (see picture below).

Razer released at CeBit its first entry level mouse Salmosa. It offers 800/1800dpi, 125/500/1000Hz polling rate adjustments, 1ms response time, three programmable Hyperesponse buttons, ambidextrous design and Scroll wheel with 24 individual click positions. Roccat Releases Kome Gaming Mouse

Roccat has delivered a new line of gaming peripherals which includes the Kone mouse. According to Roccat, this is 'the world’s first Distance Control Unit (DCU) mouse', which calculates the distance of the mouse from the surface. This mean more aiming precision, once the sensor recognizes when the player lifts the mouse and interrupts data transmission to the computer thereby freezing the cursor. The new mouse also features 96kB of internal memory, a rubberized top and side surface, 10 buttons and 4-way wheel, 4 removable weights and customizable light system. It will be available first in Europe in February.
