OCZ Announces Two 1600MHz DDR3 Modules

OCZ rolls out two new 1600MHz parts including the world’s first enhanced bandwidth high speed DDR3. The newest additions to the OCZ DDR3 family feature speeds of 1600 MHz.

The new PC3-12800 Platinum Edition is rated to run 7-7-7-20. For enthusiasts OCZ is introducing the PC3-12800 EB (Enhanced Bandwidth) Edition rated for 7-6-6-20 timings on ASUS platforms.

Both OCZ Platinum DDR3-1600 modules will be available in 2 x 1 GB dual channel kits and features a proprietary platinum-mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader.

Kingston Unveils Ultra Low-Latency DDR 3 Memory

Kingston unveils first ultra low-latency DDR 3 memory. HyperX DDR3 can operate at 1375MHz with CL5 latency settings. It will be available in 1 GB modules or dual-channel kit, which cost, respectively, USD 400 and USD 800.

OCZ announced the PC2-6400 Platinum and PC2-6400 Gold 4GB “Quad” Kits. These optimized kits comes in 4 x 1024MB solution and are engineered to satisfy the demands of overclockers and enthusiasts.

At 800MHz, the 4GB Platinum Edition runs at blazing fast 4-5-4-18 timings.

The PC2-6400 Quad Kits are 100% hand-tested, says OCZ, and feature gold-mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreaders for heat dissipation. It runs at 5-5-5-18.

Super Talent has announced the 'low latency' DDR3 memory.  7-7-7-18. They are rated to run 7-7-7-18 and they will be available in 2 GB (2x1GB) kits. The kit costs USD 648.

Transcend Intros New JetFlash Drives

Transcend released its Ultra-Speed USB2.0 Flash Drives: the JetFlash 160, the JetFlash 168, the JetFlash 110 and the JetFlash 2A. These JetFlash models are equipped with dual Hi-Speed SLC NAND Flash chips (max. Read 30 MB/s, max. Write 25MB/s). It is now available in 2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB and 16 GB (JetFlash 2A only) capacities.

The drives are enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost technology, which can accelerate program loading speed and increase memory performance. The JetFlash elite includes eight functions: AutoLogin, PC-Lock, Favorites, Secret-Zip, E-mail, DataBackup, My JetFlash, and Online Update.

Transcend Releases DDR3 1066MHz

Transcend releases its DDR3 1066MHz CL7 memory modules. The new module's supply voltage has been decreased from 1.8V to 1.5V; thus reducing power consumption by 30% compared to the DDR2-800 U-DIMM. It is now available in 512 MB and 1 GB capacities.

Corsair announces its DDR3 memory line. The modules TWIN3X2048-1066C7 runs at 1,066 Mhz and has latencies of 7-7-7-21; and TWIN3X2048-1333C9DHX runs at 1,333 MHz and has latencies of 9-9-9-27. They are available in dual-channel kits (2 GB).

Super Talent Ships DDR3 Memory Modules

Super Talent Technology announced a new line of 1333 MHz and 1066 MHz DDR3 modules. These JEDEC compliant 1 GB modules and 2 GB kits were designed specifically for the new Intel P35 “Bearlake” platform. These modules are clad in Super Talent’s custom black cast aluminum HE heat spreaders for optimum thermal performance. The 1333 MHz modules have frequencies of 9-9-9-27 and the 1066 MHz ones have frequencies of 7-7-7-20.

OCZ Announced DDR3 Memory Modules

OCZ Technology announced their official crossover into DDR3 memory to coincide with the recent launch of the Intel Bearlake Chipset. They will accommodate JEDEC specifications for third generation Double Data Rate memory. The first OCZ DDR3 products are Gold Series memory kits PC3-8500 (1066MHz) and PC3-10666 (1333MHz). The latencies for DDR3 PC3-10666 modules are 9-9-9-26 and for PC3-8500 are 7-7-7-21. The modules will be initially available in 2x512 MB and 2x1 GB dual channel kits.
