G.Skill unleashes the DDR2-1066 4GB (2 x 2GB) PK series memory which uses 8 Layers PCB to avoid electronic noise from power line and ground. The memory has clock speed of 1066MHz (PC2-8500) and latencies of 5-5-5-15.

OCZ announced the PC2-8000 Platinum Edition 4GB dual channel kit. The modules work at 1000MHz and has latencies of 5-5-5. The PC2-8000 Platinum 4GB Edition memory will be available in 2GB modules and 4GB dual channel kits with a suggested price US$ 159,99.

G.Skill launches the new package for Apple Mac users. The products include 1GB SO-DIMM, 2GB SO-DIMM (one 2GB memory or two 1GB kit), and 3GB SO-DIMM (one 1GB and one 2GB) at DDR2-667 and DDR2-800. The DDR2-667 CL5 Series feature clock speed of 667 MHz and latencies of 5-5-5-15. The DDR2-800CL5 Series has clock speed of 800MHz and latencies of 5-5-5-15.

TwinMOS Releases DR3-1600 and DDR3-1800

TwinMOS introduces the TwiSTER overclocking memory series, which includes DDR3-1600 and DDR3-1800 models. They are delivered in 1GB capacity, has a working voltage at 1.8V, clock frequency at 1600MHz and 1800MHz, and data transfer bandwidth at 12800MB/sec (DDR3-1600) and 14400MB/sec (DDR3-1800). The latencies are 8-8-8-21.

OCZ Releases 1800MHz Intel Extreme Memory DDR3 Modules

OCZ announced new 1800MHz Intel Extreme Memory DDR3 modules, specially designed for the Intel X48 chipset. These modules feature Intel Extreme Memory Profiles (XMP), a set of SPD (Serial Presence Detect) settings that act as an integrated “plug and play” overclocking tool. These XMP-Ready memory kits run latencies of 8-8-8 (with Intel qualified specification) or 7-7-7. They are available in 1GB modules and 2GB kits.

OCZ Technology announced the 8 GB Platinum PC2-6400 “Quad” Kit, which comes in a 4 x 2GB solution.

Kingston Launches Memory for AMD Phenom

Kingston has announced new 1066 MHz ValueRAM memory for the new AMD Phenom Processor. The KVR1066D2N7 model comes in 512 MB modules, 1066 MHz, frequency of 7-7-7-20 at 1.8V. It will be sold for USD 89. The model KVR1066D2N7 has modules of 1 GB, 1066MHz, frequency of 7-7-7-20 at 1.8V an will cost USD 178. The KVR1066D2N7K2 has 1GB modules of 1066MHz and frequency of 7-7-7-20at@ 1.8V. Its dual-channel kits is priced at USD 170.  Last but not least, the KVR1066D2N7K2 comes in 2GB modules, 1066MHz, frequency of 7-7-7-20 at 1.8V, and dual-channel kits cost USD 340.

OCZ Announced ReaperX Memory Series

OCZ announced the ReaperX memory series, a memory solution that utilizes a heat transfer technology. The DDR2 PC2-6400 ReaperX uses a dual metal heatpipe formation to offload heat and increase stability of memory modules. Each memory chip is in direct contact with a thermo-conductive pipe so the heat is quickly dissipate through the aluminum fin array, guarantees OCZ. The new modules DDR2-800 have 4GB capacity (2x 2GB kits) with 4-4-3-15 timings.

OCZ has released two new PC2-6400 Titanium Edition dual channel kits. The PC2-6400 Titanium has frequenccy of 800 MHz DDR2 and features latancies of 3-4-4-15. It will be available in 2 GB  modules and 4 GB (2 x 2048 MB) dual channel kits.

The PC2-6400 Titanium CL3 Edition comes with 800 MHz DDR2 of frequency and timings of 4-4-4-15. It will be available in 1 GB modules and 2 GB (2 x 1024 MB) dual channel kits.

Transcend Intros 8 GB Industrial Compact Flash

Transcend  has announced a new Ultra Speed version of its CompactFlash. The  memory card lineup has capacities up to 8GB and are designed to high-end equipment and machines that run at extreme temperatures. The operating temperature range of Industrial CF cards is much better than normal CF cards, with full functionality down to -40ºC and as hot as 85ºC (normal CF Cards are only rated at -25ºC to 85ºC). They are also resistant to shock, vibration and dust. These cards have an average read/write speeds of up to 42MB/30MB per second.
