OCZ has increased its DDR2 memory modules line-up with the launch of six 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) dual-channel kits. They work with 5-5-5-18 timings at 1.8 V with clocks of 1,066 MHz, 1,150 MHz or 1,200 MHz. No word on pricing and availability.

Patriot has extended its Viper series with the launch of triple-channel DDR3-2000 (PC3-16000) memory modules especially designed to Intel Core i7 processors and Intel X58 chipsets. Available in 6 GB (3 x 2 GB) kits, these new Patriot modules work up to 2,000 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V and support XMP (Extreme Memory Profiles) technology, which allows memory modules to negotiate with the motherboard chipset the best latencies and highest clock rate they can work in order to provide the highest possible performance. GeIL seems to be worried about saving our environment because they launched an eco-friendly memory series. Available in 1 GB and 2 GB modules, and 2 GB (1 GB x2) and 4 GB (2 GB x 2) kits, this new series is comprised with DDR2 modules powered at 1.6 V, as opposed to the JEDEC standard, which is 1.8 V, and their packing is made of recycled paper pulp. GeIL Green Series works at 667 MHz (with 5-5-5-15 timings), 800 MHz (with 5-5-5-15 timings) and 1,066 MHz (with 6-6-6-18 timings).

Silicon Power has increased its eSATA/USB flash memory line-up with the launch of 64 GB model. eSATA interface provides a higher performance in read/write operations than USB 2.0 interface, which limits transfer rate up to 480 Mbps (60 MB/s in theory, 48 MB/s in practical terms). Silicon Power eSATA/USB flash memories offer read and write speeds of up to 90 MB/s and 30 MB/s, respectively, and can be found in 8 GB, 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB capacities. They also feature a mini USB 2.0 port that can be used if an eSATA port is not available. In this case read and write speeds drop to 30 MB/s (read) and 25 MB/s (write). Corsair has just officially launched its Dominator GT line-up. Featuring triple-channel DDR3 memory kits designed to Intel Core i7 processors, these modules work up to 2,000 MHz and feature a heatspread with Dual-path Heat Xchange (DHX) technology that uses convection and conduction methods to remove heat from the memory module. This heatspreader has support for water cooling solutions, like the TEC-based water-cooling solution from Corsair. Two Dominator GT kits were launched, as you can see below: - Dominator GT DDR3-1866: Works at 1,866 MHz with 7-8-7-20 timings at 1.65 V e are available in 3 GB (USD 299.99) and 6 GB (USD 479.99) kits.
