Mushkin has launched its newest DDR3 memory kits with modules equipped with copper-made heatsinks. Mushkin Copperhead series is comprised with five dual- and triple-channel kits, as you can see below.

Super Talent Launches USB 3.0 Flash Memories

Super Talent is the first manufacturer to roll out USB flash memories compatible with the new USB 3.0 standard (a.k.a. SuperSpeed). These new USB memories, called RAIDDrive USB 3.0, are available in 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB, are compatible with USB 2.0 standard and offer a maximum transfer rate of 200 MB/s (by using a special driver the maximum transfer rate go to 320 MB/s). RAIDDrive USB 3.0 flash memories will reach the market next month.

Memory Transcend has announced the launch of a DDR3 dual-channel memory kit targeted to the Intel socket 1156 platform. This new kit is available in 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) capacity, its modules works at 1,333 MHz with 9-9-9-24 timings at 1.5 V. The kit is now available priced at USD 117.

G.Skill Announces DDR3 ECO Kits

G.Skill has launched its first “Green” DDR3 memory kits within ECO series. These new kits are comprised with DDR3 modules powered at 1.35 V, instead of 1.65 V as defined by JEDEC specification. The following kits were announced:

Patriot has announced the launch of its Sector 5 memory series specially designed to the new Intel P55 chipset (that will support the upcoming Intel 45-nm Lynnfield processors: Core i5-750, Core i7-860 and Core i7-870). Sector 5 series is comprised with dual-channel DDR3 kits with clocks ranging from 1,333 MHz to 2,000 MHz. All Sector 5 modules feature Viper II heatspread. G.Skill announced today its newest DDR3 memory series, Ripjaws. Modules from this series feature an aluminum heatspread and can be found in dual-channel kits with clocks ranging from 1,333 MHz to 1,866 MHz, powered at 1.65 V. G.Skill will be launching Ripjaws modules with 2 GHz and 2.2 GHz clocks very soon. No word on princing and availability.

A-Data has just announced the launch of XPG Plus DDR3-2200+ v2.0 dual-channel memory kits. Available in 2 GB (2 x 1 GB) and 4 GB (2 x 2 GB) capacities, these new kits make use of memory modules able to work up to 2,200 MHz with 8-8-8-24 timings at 1.65 V. These modules also feature 2 oz copper PCBs (just like Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 motherboards), which improve energy efficiency and enhance stability for overclocking, and a heatsink installed. Memory GeIL has increased its “Green” product line-up with the launch of four DDR3 memory kits. Available in 2 GB (1 GB x 2) and 4 GB (2 GB x 2) kits, theses new kits are comprised with DDR3 modules powered at 1.3 V, instead of 1.5 V as defined by JEDEC specification. Also, these kits come inside a recycled paper packaging.

Super Talent has increased its Luxio USB flash memory line-up with the launch of a 128 GB model. Available in 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and now 128 GB capacities, Super Talent Luxio flash memories measure 3.0” x 0.81” x 0.37”, feature AES-256 hardware encryption and support ReadyBoost technology, a feature brought by Windows Vista that allows flash memories to be used as a disk cache in order to improve the system performance. 128 GB Luxio memory is priced at USD 349.
