Today, AMD launched the AMD Radeon RG2133 Gamer Series Memory and Radeon RAMDisk 4.1. AMD Radeon RG2133 Gamer Series Memory is the only memory on the market that offers both XMP and AMP memory profiles in one package, enabling ultimate ease in overclocking on both platforms. AMD Radeon RG2133 Gamer Series Memory will ship with a free AMD Radeon RAMDisk 64 GB, which features enhanced load-and-save functionality. Corsair has announced new Vengeance Extreme 8 GB dual-channel DDR3 memory kits rated at 3 GHz, the world’s fastest rated production PC memory kits, according to the manufacturer.
Fitted with low profile “racing red” heat spreaders, the new 2x4 GB memory kits operate at 3 GHz air-cooled, with latency settings of 12-14-14-36, at 1.65 V. A Kingpin Cooling memory cooler is included for overclockers who want to use LN2 (liquid nitrogen) to reach memory speeds well beyond 3 GHz.
The Vengeance Extreme 3 GHz 8 GB memory kits are priced at USD 749.99 and will be available exclusively from Corsair.com in March. Quantities of these hand-built modules will be extremely limited.
