OCZ has just launched two new high-speed USB 2.0 flash drives: ATV and ATV Turbo. ATV can read data up to 30 MB/s, can write data up to 14MB/s and it is available in 2 GB, 4 GB and 8 GB capacities. ATV Turbo USB flash drive can read data up to 35 MB/s, can write data up to 30 MB/s and it is available in 4 GB capacity. Both are shockproof and waterproof (i.e. they have a rubber housing), dual channel Technology and are enhanced for Windows ReadyBoost technology, which can accelerate program loading speed and increase memory performance.
Patriot has announced two new DDR3 memory module kits targeted to overclockers and gamers: PC3-1600 and PC3-1866. The first one operates at 1,600 MHz at 9-9-9-24 timings and is available in 1 GB and 2 GB kit capacities. PC3-1866 modules operate at 1,866 MHz at 8-8-8-20 timings and are available in 2 GB kit capacities. Both modules are equipped with an aluminum heatsink.
SanDisk has launched the SanDisk Multi Card ExpressCard Adapter for notebooks. This new adapter fits into the ExpressCard slot and accepts six different card formats: SD, SDHC, MultiMediaCard, MMCplus, Memory Stick Duo, Memory Stick PRO Duo and Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo.
For notebook computers without embedded memory card slots, the SanDisk Multi Card ExpressCard Adapter is an easy system upgrade. Transcend Information unveiled aXeRam Overclocking Memory. It is available in 2GB 240-pin DDR2-800 Dual-Channel Kit. The kit includes a matching pair of 1GB DDR2-800 modules with heat sinks and has a Default CL4 latency.
