Super Talent claims to have the world's fastest production DDR3 kit. W1866UX2G8 is a 2 GB Kit and operates at 1866MHz (PC3-14900). It has latencies of 8-8-8-24.

This kit comes equipped with Super Talent's black cast aluminum heatsinks and is backed with a lifetime warranty. Street price: USD 625.

Super Talent has announced that captured the #1 position in AnandTech.com's quest for the world's fastest memory.

The W1600UX2G7, a module, runs at 1600MHz, but reached 2008MHz in AnandTech's testing labs. It supports 7-7-7-18 latencies and its available in 2GB Kit (2x 1GB). Suggested retail price: USD 579.

Geil Announces DDR3

Geils announced that is plannig to launch new line of DDR3 memory modules. Memory module vendor GeIL is preparing to jump on the latest bandwagon with a new The new products will feature 1066MHz with timings of 6-6-6 and 7-7-7, and 1333MHz at 7-7-7, 8-8-8, and 9-9-9. They will come in 1 GB and 2 GB modules and 2 GB and 4 GB dual-channel kits. Pricing and availability were not supplied

Kingmax Intros the Smallest Flash Drive

Kingmax announced its Super Stick USB flash drive, which grabbed attention the world’s smallest, highest-capacity flash drive. Its dimension are 34mm x 14.5 mm x 2.2 mm and it weights 3 g.

The new 8 GB Super Stick L series ships with the popular NOD32 antivirus software. Kingmax always says that when used with PC loaded with the Vista operating system, performance will be effectively enhanced by 30 to 40%.

OCZ Announces Two 1600MHz DDR3 Modules

OCZ rolls out two new 1600MHz parts including the world’s first enhanced bandwidth high speed DDR3. The newest additions to the OCZ DDR3 family feature speeds of 1600 MHz.

The new PC3-12800 Platinum Edition is rated to run 7-7-7-20. For enthusiasts OCZ is introducing the PC3-12800 EB (Enhanced Bandwidth) Edition rated for 7-6-6-20 timings on ASUS platforms.

Both OCZ Platinum DDR3-1600 modules will be available in 2 x 1 GB dual channel kits and features a proprietary platinum-mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreader.
