Corsair is going to launch the new 4 GB DOMINATOR DDR3 memory kit running at 2000 MHz at CompuTex 2008. Available in 4 GB DOMINATOR kits, it features the DHX cooling, quad-layer heat sink design to maximize thermal dissipation. With DHX Technology, heat is removed via two paths - the leads of the BGA chips into the PCB (conductive cooling) and the back of the BGA packages into the custom designed extruded aluminum heat sinks (convective cooling). Kingston today announced that its HyperX 1800MHz DDR3 memory has been certified under the Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) validation program. According to Mark Tekunoff, senior technology manager of Kingston, 'many of our motherboard partners, including ASUS, MSI and Gigabyte, have released XMP-ready offerings that can take immediate advantage of HyperX XMP-certified memory on current X38 and X48 platforms'.
When paired with select Intel X38/X48 series-based motherboards, Kingston HyperX modules increase overall system performance, guarantees Kingston.

Corsair announced that its Labs has set the world record for the highest achieved DDR3 frequency. A single-rank 1GB module achieved a speed of 2462MHz at CL=9. This record was set using Corsair's DOMINATOR DDR3 memory module paired with an Asus P5E3 Premium motherboard based on the Intel X48 chipset.
