Transcend debuts its 1GB/2GB memory kit of high-speed DDR2 800 Non-ECC Unbuffered DIMM. JM1GDDR2-8K of 2 modules of 512MB DDR2 SDRAM. Max clock Frequency is 400 MHZ and programmable latency is 3-4-5. The JM2GDDR2-8K consists of 2 modules of 1GB DDR2 SDRAM. Maximum clock Frequency is 400 MHZ.

OCZ Technology launches the new OCZ Trifecta SD card series, a combination of microSD, SD and a USB key in one unit. The microSD easily converts into a standard SD card that can also be plugged into any USB port for quick access on your desktop or notebook

The cards will be available in 1 GB and 2 GB capacities with high speed 66X read-rates.

Super Talent Technology announced a 4 GB 800 MHz DDR2 memory kit. The new T800UX4GC5 is a matched pair of 2 GigaByte 800 MHz DDR2 non-ECC unbuffered 240-pin DIMMs. This kit operates at 5-5-5-15 latencies at 2.1 Volts. It will be available this week at an estimated street price of USD 438.

Chaintech Launches memory modules Apogee GT

Chaintech has announced new memory modules Apogee GT, which features extruded aluminum and heat-sinks. They are available in 1GB and 2GB kits. A 4GB module kit is scheduled for the second or third quarter.

They comes in two speeds: 800+ (according to the company, the plus indicates that Chaintech guarantees overclockability) and latencies of 4-4-4-12 CL4; and 1066+ at 5-5-5-15 CL5.

Super Talent Technology announced new 4 GB DDR2 Fully Buffered DIMMs (FB-DIMMs).

The PC4300 modules were designed for use in the latest Intel Xeon server boards based on the Intel 5000P (Blackford) chipset. The S4GTF4FJ model runs at 533 MHz. OEM price is  USD 1,199.

SanDisk Announces 4 GB SD and Memory Stick PRO Duo

SanDisk announces Extreme III with 4 GB SDHC class 6 and a 4 GB Memory Stick PRO Duo Card. The SDHC card will be packaged with a SanDisk MicroMate USB 2.0 Reader - a $20 value. A 4GB SanDisk Extreme III card can store more than 2,000 high-resolution pictures or up to 8 hours of MPEG 4 video.

The SDHC card has a read/write speed of 20 MB/s, and the Memory Stick PRO Duo card has a read/write speed of 18 MB/s.

Kingmax launches what it claims to be the world's smallest 4 GB flash drive. The Super Stick USB flash drive is available from 512MB to 4GB. When used with PCs and notebooks running on Microsoft’s Vista operating system, it can effectively improve performance between 30 and 40%, guarantees Kingmax. It is waterproof and dustproof and weighs just 3 grams.

OCZ unveiled the PC2-8500 Reaper HPC Series, a 2 GB dual channel kit which comes with Reaper HPC (Heat Pipe Conduit) heatspreader. The Reaper HPC is a cooling solution to effectively minimize heat produced by high-speed memory. The heat is dissipated through the compact aluminum fin array. The modules are rated at 1066MHz and run at 5-5-5-15.

SanDisk Intros 8GB JEDEC-compatible iNAND

SanDisk has released a new version of its iNAND flash drive, compatible with a standard issued by the JEDEC JC-64.1. This new JEDEC compatibility allows iNAND to more readily connect to applications using this common standard. The idea is a flash memory to ease integration of high-capacity storage in Handsets and Other devices. It soon will be available in capacities of up to 8 GB.
