Sapphire Intros HD 3850 with 1GB Memory

Video Sapphire Technology has just launched a new version of its HD 3850 with 1GB GDDR3 memory. It also has a core clock speed of 703MHz, higher than the standard model. It incorporates ATI Avivo and a built in UVD (Unified Video decoder) for the hardware accelerated decoding of Blu-ray and HD DVD.

Featuring the latest CrossFireX technology, the SAPPHIRE HD 3850 has two high speed connectors on each card allowing more 4 graphics cards to be daisy-chained together. As each card has two dual-link DVI connectors, this allows up to eight monitors to be used at the same time, or - with CrossFire enabled - two GPUs.

ASUS released the EAH3870X2/G/3DHTI/1G graphic card featuring dual on-board AMD Radeon HD 3870X2. The card comes equipped with 4 DVI-I Output and 1GB DDR3 Memory on board. AMD/ATI Releases ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3000 Series

Video AMD/ATI has launched the new family of graphics ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3000 series. The first two cards to reach the market are Mobility Radeon HD 3400 and Mobility Radeon HD 3600. The new series is optimized for the forthcoming AMD notebook platform, code-named "Puma". It is indicated for notebooks with Microsoft DirectX 10.1 and PCI Express 2.0 support.

With the new series, users can watch Blu-ray and HD-DVD movies in full-HD 1080p resolution (HD display required) using ATI Avivo HD Technology. It offers DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort support.

The Mobility Radeon HD 3600 supports 128-bit DDR2/GDDR3/GDDR4 memory interface and the HD 3400 supports 64-bit DDR2/GDDR3 memory interface.

ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3400 series and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3600 series are currently shipping in notebooks from ASUS.
