Sparkle has extended its Calibre line-up with the launch of two GeForce GT 240 video cards: X240 (512 MB GDDR5) and X240G (1 GB GDDR5). These cards works internally at 630 MHz (14.55% above stock clock of 550 MHz), access the memory at 3,600 MHz QDR (5.88% above stock clock of 3,400 MHz QDR) through a 128-bit interface, have 96 stream processors running at 1,677 MHz (25.15% above stock clock of 1,340 MHz) and VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. These cards feature a dual-slot cooler solution that features a fan with two blade layers, which has a self-cleaning function where fan will rotate clockwise for 30 seconds after turned on, then counter-clockwise to remove dust from internal parts. No word on pricing and availability.

AMD/ATI Launches Radeon HD 5570

AMD/ATI launched today one more DirectX 11 video card, Radeon HD 5570. So, it is their eighth video card compatible with DirectX 11 programming model, while its rival, NVIDIA, hasn’t launched any yet. Radeon HD 5570 works internally at 650 MHz, has 1 GB DDR3 accessed at 900 MHz real (or 1,800 MHz DDR) through a 128-bit interface, has 400 stream processors, a maximum power consumption of 45 W, supports CrossFireX and ATI Eyefinity technologies and features VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. This card has a suggested price of USD 79. Below you can see a list of manufacturers who already launched models based on this new AMD/ATI video card.

MSI Launches R5770 Hawk Video Card

MSI has officially launched the first model within their Hawk series of video cards. R5770 Hawk is a video card based on AMD/ATI Radeon HD 5770 GPU that makes use of a black PCB, has solid state capacitors and solid state inductors, a 7+1-phase regulator voltage, voltage measurement points and a Twin Frozr II cooler, which features three heatpipes. This card works internally at 850 MHz (the same clock as reference model), has 1 GB GDDR5 accessed at 4.8 GHz QDR (the same clock as reference model), and DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs. No word on pricing and availability.

AMD/ATI launched today Radeon HD 5450, the simplest DirectX 11 video card from their product line. This card works internally at 650 MHz, has 512 MB or 1 GB DDR3 (800 MHz real or 1,600 MHz DDR) or DDR2 (400 MHz real or 800 MHz DDR) accessed through a 64-bit interface, 80 stream processors, TDP of 19.1 W, supports CrossFireX and ATI Eyefinity technologies and features VGA, DVI and HDMI connections. PowerColor Launches PCS+ HD5670 Video Card

PowerColor has expanded its PCS series of video cards with the launch of a factory-overclocked Radeon HD 5670 called PCS+ HD5670. This new PowerColor video card works internally at 785 MHz (only 1.29% above stock clock of 775 MHz), has 512 MB GDDR5 accessed at 4 GHz QDR (1 GHz real) through a 128-bit interface, has DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors, and comes with an Arctic Cooling cooler equipped with two 92-mm fans. PowerColor has just announced PCS+ HD5870 (AX5870 1GBD5-PPDH) and PCS+ HD5850 (AX5850 1GBD5-PPDH) video cards. Both come with factory overclocking and use a propriety cooler (four copper heatpipes and one 92-mm fan) that according to the manufacturer is more efficient than AMD/ATI stock cooler used by Radeon HD 5800 cards. PCS+ HD5870 is based on Radeon HD 5870 GPU, works internally at 875 MHz (2.94% above stock clock of 850 MHz), has 1 GB GDDR5 accessed at 4.9 GHz QDR (2.08% above stock clock of 4.8 GHz QDR) through a 256-bit interface and features two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort connectors. PCS+ HD5850, on the other hand, is based on Radeon HD 5850 GPU, works internally at 760 MHz (4.83% above stock clock of 725 MHz), has 1 GB GDDR5 accessed at 4.2 GHz QDR (5% above stock clock of 4 GHz QDR) through a 256-bit interface and also features two DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort connectors. MSI has just unveiled R5770-PMD1G, a video card based on Radeon HD 5770 GPU that comes with an over voltage function for GPU (1.300 V max), a neat feature that will certainly please overclockers. This card uses HD 5770 stock clocks (850 MHz for GPU and 4.8 GHz QDR for memory), has 1 GB GDDR5, a cooler equipped with a 80-mm fan with speed controlled via PWM and DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. Sapphire has expanded their Radeon HD 5000 series with the launch of the video card Radeon HD 5770 equipped with Vapor-X cooler (vapor chamber technology; according to the manufacturer it is more efficient than the stock cooler). This card comes with a modest factory-overclocking working internally at 860 MHz (1.18% above default clock of 850 MHz) accessing its 1 GB GDDR5 at 4.8 GDDR (the same clock as the reference model).
