EVGA Announces GeForce GTX 560 Ti with Crysis 2 Game

In order to celebrate the release of the Crysis 2 game, EVGA has decided to launch an overclocked GeForce GTX 560 Ti video card that comes with a full copy of the Crysis 2, plus a Crysis 2 poster, and a T shirt.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Maximum Graphics Edition works internally at 900 MHz (9.49% above the stock clock of 822 MHz), has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 4,212 MHz (5.09% above the stock clock of 4,008 MHz), 384 processors running at 1,800 MHz (9.42% above the stock clock of 1,645 MHz), and two DVI and one HDMI connectors.

The card is priced at USD 299.

Sapphire Launches Radeon HD 6950 FleX Edition

Sapphire has just announced the Radeon HD 6950 FleX Edition, a new video card that allows users to build an Eyefinity setup using three DVI monitors without the need for active adapters. The first two monitors are connected to the two DVI ports available on the card and the third to an HDMI to DVI cable that comes with the video card.

Eyefinity is a multi-monitor technology from AMD that enables a single GPU to support up to six independent display outputs simultaneously.

The Sapphire Radeon HD 6950 FleX Edition features the stock clocks (800 MHz for the GPU and 5 GHz DDR for the memory), and comes with 2 GB of GDDR5 memory, a dual-slot Vapor-X cooler, dual-BIOS, and two DVI, one HDMI and two mini-DisplayPort connectors.

Sapphire did not say a word about the card’s price.

NVIDIA Launches GeForce GTX 550 Ti

NVIDIA has officially launched their newest (and cheapest) member within the GeForce GTX 500 series, the GeForce GTX 550 Ti (Ti stands for Titanium). This new video card works internally at 900 MHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 4,100 MHz DDR through a 192-bit interface, 192 processors running at 1,800 MHz, and DVI and mini HDMI connectors.

The GeForce GTX 550 Ti can be found on the market costing USD 149.99.

Several manufacturers have launched models based on this new video card from NVIDIA, as you can see in the list below.

EVGA Announces GeForce GTX 460 2WIN Video Card

EVGA announced today the GTX 460 2WIN, a dual-GPU video card that uses two GeForce GTX 460 GPUs running at 700 MHz each. The card features 2 GB of GDDR5 memory (1 GB for GPU) working at 3.6 GHz through two 256-bit interface, and has three DVI and one mini-HDMI video outputs.

It comes with a custom dual-slot cooler solution equipped with three 80-mm fans, and it extra power via two 8-pin PCI Express connectors.

According to EVGA, the GeForce GTX 460 2WIN is about 5 to 10% faster than GeForce GTX 580 on the 3DMark 11 and Unigine Heaven.

EVGA did not disclose pricing or availability.

Sparkle Releases GeForce GTX 570 Thermal Guru

Sparkle has just launched another Thermal Guru video card, this time a model based on the GeForce GTX 570 GPU. This video card is equipped with a custom cooler solution that according to the manufacturer can reduce the GPU temperature up to 5 °C compared to the reference cooler. This dual-slot cooler features four copper heatpipes, aluminum fins and two 80-mm fans.

The Sparkle GeForce GTX 570 Thermal Guru (SXX5701280D54D) uses the stock clocks (732 MHz for GPU and 3,800 MHz for memory), has 1,280 MB of GDDR5 memory, and two DVI, one DisplayPort, and one HDMI video outputs.

No word on pricing and availability was provided.

AMD Launches Radeon HD 6990

AMD has officially launched the Radeon HD 6990, a video card equipped with two GPUs clocked at 830 MHz each, 4 GB of GDDR5 memory (2 GB per GPU) running at 5 GHz through two 256-bit interface, 1536 processors per GPU, and TDP of 375 W. The Radeon HD 6990 comes with one DVI and four mini-DisplayPort 1.2 connectors, and a secondary BIOS for overclocking to put the CPU to running up to 880 MHz. This video card reaches the market with a suggested price of USD 699.

Several manufacturers have launched models based on this new video card from AMD, as you can see in the list below.

Sparkle has expanded their Calibre video card line-up with the launch of a factory-overclocked model based on the GeForce GTX 570 GPU. The Calibre X570 works internally at 772 MHz (5.46% above de stock clock of 732 MHz), has 1,280 MB of GDDR5 memory running at 4,212 MHz (10.84% above de stock clock of 3,800 MHz) through a 320-bit interface, and features two DVI and one mini-HDMI connectors. It uses the Accelero Xtreme cooling solution from Arctic, which has five heatpipes and three 92 mm fans. Sparkle didn't reveal the card's pricing.

MSI Intros R6870 Hawk Video Card with Propeller Blade Technology

MSI has just expanded their Hawk series of video card with the launch of the R6870 Hawk, a factory-overclocked card based on the Radeon HD 6870 GPU.

This video card works internally at 930 MHz (3.33% above the stock clock of 900 MHz), has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4,200 MHz (the same clock as the stock model) through a 256-bit interface, and DVI, HDMI and mini DisplayPort video outputs.

It comes with the MSI’s Twin Frozr III dual-slot cooling solution (two 80 mm fans, five 8-mm heatpipes, nickel-plated copper base, and a new propeller blade technology) that reduces the temperature by 20°C and noise by 7 dB when compared to the reference design.

The R6870 Hawk video card features a 10-phase voltage regulator circuit, APS (Active Phase Switching, which enables or disables phases according to the GPU load), military class components, voltage check points, and over current protection (OCP).

MSI didn't mention the suggested price of this new card.
