nVidia Launches GeForce GTX 200 Series

nVidia has just launched its newest graphics cards series, GeForce GTX 200. Two models were released today: GeForce GTX 280 and GeForce GTX 260. Both cards are PCI Express 2.0, support three-way SLI and require two auxiliary power connectors, with GTX 280 requiring one 6-pin connector and another 8-pin connector and GTX 260 requiring two 6-pin connectors.  On the table below we summarize the main specs from these two cards.

Acer Presents 24" Monitor P244W

Acer claims to have the world’s first 24” full High Definition (FHD) with 1080p resolution and 16:9 ratio widescreen LCD monitor. The model Acer P244W has been launched at the Computex Taipei. It supports a superior contrast ratio up to 20,000:1 and a response time up to 2 ms gray-to-gray and offers support to HDMI.

Walton Chaintech Intros New Products in Computex

Walton Chaintech announces the new APOGEE overclocking memory modules, including the APOGEE GT DDR2 1200 memory modules in 4GB kit and Flash SATA SSD in 32 GB and 64 GB. Additionally, the company also releases the new APOGEE GT Blazer series DDR3 2000 memory modules with Cool-it-Smart heatsink design.  

In Taipei Computex, Walton Chaintech will also present the new Limited Gaming Edition in deluxe gift package, featuring CHAINTECH GeForce 9600GT 512MB O/C version and APOGEE GT DDR2 1066 4GB kit that can easily optimize the PC performance.  

Chaintech GSE96GT 512MB Overclocking version is considered an evolution version of 9600GT, with advancing from 650 MHz core clock to 735 MHz by running on a 256-bit bus. The card adopts emory solution GDDR3 512MB that runs up to 1900 MHz.

Chaintech Ships GeForce 9600 GTC

Walton Chaintech introduces the GSE96GT Overclocking Edition with core code GeForce G94. According to the manufacturer, the overall performance of its new graphic card has raised about 15% compared with 9600GT. In fact, the 9600 GTC is considered an evolution of 9600GT advancing itself from 650 MHz core clock to 735 MHz with running on a 256-bit bus. The card also features GDDR3 512MB running up to 1900 MHz.

Chaintech 9600GTC is compatible with integrated HDMI and it adopts Dual-Link DVI-I for smoothly delivering high quality images to a 2560 x 1600 resolution LCD display.

The NVidia has released the new GeForce 9800 GTX, which features core clock of 675 MHz and 256-bit 512 MB GDDR3 at 1100 MHz. It also offer increased performance up to 2x in a dual SLI configuration and up to 2.8x in 3-way SLI mode. GeForce 9800 GTX is designed for the new PCI Express 2.0 bus architecture.
