MSI Announces N275GTX Lightning Video Card

MSI has expanded its Lightning line-up with the launch of N275GTX (GeForce 275 GTX), a factory-overclocked video card. This new card works internally at 700 MHz (10.58% above default clock of 633 MHz), accesses its 1,792 MB of GDDR3 at 2,300 MHz (1.41% above default clock of 2,268 MHz) thru a 448-bit interface and has VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. Also, N275GTX Lightning features a 10-phase voltage regulator, a 10-layer PCB, a Twin Frozr II cooler (two 80-mm fans and five heatpipes), a power management technology with active phase switching and comes with Lightning Afterburner overclocking utility that allows users to tune GPU voltage, GPU and memory clock. Information on pricing and availability weren't provided.

Club 3D has just announced the launch of its “green” series of video card that according to the manufacturer consumes up to 40% less than original version. Below you can see the main specs for the models launched.

nVidia SLI Technology is Now Licensed For Intel Motherboards

Video nVidia has announced that Intel and the main motherboard manufacturers (ASUS, EVGA, Gigabyte and MSI) have licensed nVidia SLI technology for inclusion on their Intel P55 Express Chipset-based motherboards designed for the upcoming Intel Core i7 and i5 processors in the LGA1156 socket. So users of P55-based motherboard and upcoming Core processors can equip their PCs with more than one nVidia-based video card under SLI configuration. It is always good to remember that Intel chipsets are already compatible with the competing technology, CrossFireX from AMD.

EVGA Unveils Dual-display Monitor

EVGA has just launched InterView 1700, a monitor equipped with two 17” LCD displays. The two displays are suspended on a central stand that allows them to be individually turned 180º on the vertical and 90º on the horizontal. Each display has native resolution of 1440 x 900, 8 ms response time and a 500:1 static contrast ratio. InterView 1700 weights 16.53 lbs (7.5 kg), has a built-in 1.3 Mpixel webcam located on the central stand, three USB ports and a dual-link DVI. EVGA is selling this monitor for USD 650.

HIS has launched a Radeon HD 4350 video card based on PCI Express x1 interface. It is a great option to the users willing to buy a modern video card but don’t have a motherboard featuring a PCI Express x16 slot or has only one x16 slot and want to have more than two video monitors attached to the PC. This video card works internally at 600 MHz, accesses its 512 MB DDR2 at 800 MHz thru a 64-bit interface, has a passive cooling solution and VGA, DVI and HDMI connectors. BFG has increased its GeForce GTX family with the launch of two new video cards: GeForce GTX 295 H2OC with ThermoIntelligence watercooling solution and GeForce GTX 285 OCFU.

According to BFG ThermoIntelligence watercooling solution reduces GeForce GTX 295 H2OC working temperature by up to 40°C compared to standard cooling solutions.

Sparkle has extended its Calibre line-up with the launch of GeForce GTX 260 (X265/X265HM). By using the SPA Tune utility this card can be configured to work in three modes: green mode (internal clock of 400 MHz, shader clock of 800 MHz and memory clock of 600 MHz DDR), standard mode (internal clock of 576 MHz, shader clock of 1,242 MHz and memory clock of 1,998 MHz DDR) or overclocking mode (internal clock of 666 MHz, shader clock of 1,476 MHz and memory clock of 2,268 MHz DDR).
