Zotac has introduced two low-profile GeForce GT 520 video cards, one featuring PCI interface and one with PCI Express x1 interface.

Both work internally at 810 MHz, have 512 MB of DDR3 memory running at 1,333 MHz through a 64-bit interface, feature 48 processors clocked at 1,620 MHz, and VGA, DVI and HDMI video outputs. The PCI model comes with a passive cooler, while the PCI Express x1 version is equipped with an active cooler.

Being low-profile video cards, they are suitable for HTPC (home theater PC) and small form factor computers.

Today, Sapphire introduced the Radeon HD 6870 1G Dirt 3 Edition, a factory-overclocked video card that comes with a voucher that allows the download of the Dirt 3 game. This video card works internally at 920 MHz (2.22% above the stock clock of 900 MHz), has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4.2 GHz through a 256-bit interface, and features two 90 mm fans, and five video outputs: two DVI, one HDMI 1.4, and two mini DisplayPort 1.2.

Club 3D has just unveiled the GeForce GTX 560Ti Green Edition, a video card that, according to the manufacturer, is up to 10 percent more power efficient than the standard reference card.

The GeForce GTX 560Ti Green Edition works internally at 822 MHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4,008 MHz through a 256-bit interface, and two DVI and one mini-HDMI video outputs. This card should become available later this month.

Sapphire has expanded their video card offering with the launch of the factory-overclocked Radeon HD 6850 Vapor-X Edition video card. Zotac, in partnership with CoolIT, has developed a factory-overclock GeForce GTX 580 video card equipped with a liquid cooling solution.

The Zotac GeForce GTX 580 Infinity Edition runs at 815 MHz (5.57% above the stock clock of 772 MHz), has 1,536 MB of GDDR5 memory working at 4,100 MHz (2.30% above the stock clock of 4,008 MHz), and comes with DVI and mini HDMI video outputs. It features CoolIT's Omni self-contained liquid cooling system.

Owners of existing Zotac GeForce GTX 580, GTX 570 and GTX 480 video cards can opt for the Zotac Omni liquid cooling upgrade kit. The kit includes the self-contained liquid cooling solution and everything needed to water-cool reference-design GeForce GTX 580, 570 and 480 video cards.

Today, HIS launched two Radeon HD 6770 video cards equipped with their IceQ X cooling solution, which features a 92 mm fan and two copper heatpipes.

The HIS 6770 IceQ X works internally at 850 MHz and accesses its memory at 4.8 GHz, while the IceQ X Turbo version works internally at 880 MHz and accesses its memory at 5 GHz. Both feature 1 GB of GDDR5 memory, a 128-bit interface, and DVI, HDMI, and DisplayPort connectors.

AMD Launches Radeon HD 6990M

Two weeks ago, NVIDIA introduced the GeForce GTX 580M as being the fastest notebook GPU ever. But according to AMD, their recently-launched Radeon HD 6990M is the world's fastest mobile GPU, being up to 25% faster than any other announced notebook GPU (a clear reference to the NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 580M).

The new Radeon HD 6990M works internally at 715 MHz, accesses its 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at 3,600 MHz through a 256-bit interface, and features 1120 processors. This chip supports DirectX 11, HD3D, CrossFireX, and Eyefinity technologies.

EVGA has released the GeForce GTX 570 Classified, a factory-overclocked video card that works internally at 822 MHz (12.30% above the stock clock of 732 MHz), has 1,280 MB of GDDR5 memory running at 3,902 MHz (2.68% above the stock clock of 3,800 MH) through a 320-bit interface, and DVI, HDMI and DisplayPort outputs.

The EVGA GeForce GTX 570 Classified also features a 10-player PCB, a 6-phase voltage regulator circuit, voltage read points, and support for 3-way SLI, PhysX, CUDA, and 3D Vision Surround technologies. This video card is priced at USD 359.99.

NVIDIA Launches GeForce GTX 580M

NVIDIA has expanded their mobile GPU offering with the launch of what they’re claiming to be the fastest notebook GPU ever, the GeForce GTX 580M.

The new GPU works internally at 620 MHz, accesses its 2 GB of GDDR5 memory at 3 GHz through a 256-bit interface, and features 384 processors running at 1,240 MHz. This chip supports DirectX 11, OpenGL 4.1, CUDA, PhysX, Optimus, 3D Vision, and two-way SLI technologies.

The first notebooks to feature the GeForce GTX 580M GPU will be Alienware M17x and M18x.

NVIDIA also introduced the GeForce GTX 570M GPU. This chip works internally at 535 MHz, accesses its GDDR5 memory (1.5 GB or 3 GB) at 3 GHz through a 192-bit interface, and features 336 processors running at 1,150 MHz. This chip also supports DirectX 11, CUDA, PhysX, and Optimus technologies. According to NVIDIA, the GeForce GTX 570M is already available on MSI’s GT780R notebook, as an optional part.
