ASUS released two new widescreen monitors, MW221U and MW201U. They both are certified for Windows Vista Premium version.
The ASUS MW221U 22" delivers a resolution of 1680 x 1050, wide viewing angles and can fit two A4 size pages side by side on screen. It always has contrast ratio of 700:1 and DVI-D output.
The MW201U 20" has also a contrast ratio of 700:1, response time of 2ms and DVI-D and VGA outputs.
They both come with built-in stereo speakers and earphone jacks, Trace Free Technology, which accelerates response time to 2ms and display 16.7 million colors.
Pinnacle Systems announced the PCTV Tuner Kits for Windows Vista.The new line includes three products: two portable USB2 digital and analog TV tuner kits (HD ATSC/NTSC or DVB-T/PAL/SECAM) and one analog PAL/SECAM PCI Kit. Those products brings a remote control.
According to Pinnacle, 60 % of PCs sold in the USA last quarter of 2006 have been Windows Media Center. With the intro of Windows Vista, this percentage will probably raise.
With the Pinnacle PCTV Tuner Kits, consumers can watch, pause, and record live television and schedule future recordings using the Windows Media Center TV Guide. Additionally, the products include an infrared blaster, to connect to set-top boxes or satellite television systems.
V-Gear launches the Talkcam Tracer Webcam, which follows your movement around the room. The webcam will auto focus and zoom to keep you looking pin point sharp on your screen. It takes images at 1.3 megapixels, process up to 30 frames per second and also recognises up to 16.7 million different colours. The webcam has a USB 2.0 connection.
PowerColor introduces the X1550 in PCI-E, AGP and Silent Cooling System (SCS) variations of graphic cards. These models replace the X1300 brand. PowerColor’s X1550 comes with a factory overclocked core of 600 MHz.
