Sparkle Announces Self-Produced GeForce GTX 5xx Video Cards
Author: Cássio Lima Date: January 4, 2011 - 6:01 AM PST
Category: Video
More Info: http://www.sparkle.com.tw
Video

When a video card is first launched, all “manufacturers” buy their video cards already assembled from NVIDIA/AMD and only add their sticker to it. One or other manufacturer may add an overclocking, but physically all cards are absolutely identical.

However, Sparkle has become the world’s first manufacturer to independently produce video cards based on NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570 and GeForce GTX 580 GPUs. They’ve already launched two self-produced video cards within their V-Go series: GeForce GTX 570 and GeForce GTX 580.

The GeForce GTX 570 V-Go comes in two versions: standard and factory-overclocked. While the former uses the stock clocks (732 MHz for GPU and 3800 MHz for memory), the latter has an overclocking (752 MHz for GPU and 3996 MHz for memory). Both have 1,280 MB of GDDR5 memory, a purple PCB (NVIDIA-manufactured boards have a black PCB), a dual-slot cooler, and two DVI and one mini-HDMI outputs.

The GeForce GTX 580 V-Go uses the stock clocks (772 MHz for GPU and 4008 MHz for memory), has 1,536 MB of GDDR5 memory, a purple PCB (NVIDIA-manufactured boards have a black PCB), a dual-slot cooler, and two DVI and one mini-HDMI outputs.

Sparkle did not provide information on pricing or availability.
