Today, NVIDIA introduced the GeForce GTX 780, a video card equipped with a Kepler GPU featuring 2,304 cores and 3 GB of GDDR5 memory. According to NVIDIA, the GTX 780 is 70% faster than GeForce GTX 580 and over 40% faster than GeForce GTX 680.
The GeForce GTX 780 is clocked at 863 MHz (900 MHz in turbo mode), and accesses its memory at 6 GHz through a 384-bit interface. The card comes with two DL-DVI, one HDMI and one DisplayPort 1.2 video connectors.
The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 is available now from the world’s leading add-in card suppliers, including ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac. Pricing is expected to start at USD 649.
AMD has expanded its notebook GPU offering with the launch of the Radeon HD 8970M. This brand new chip runs at 850 MHz (900 MHz in turbo mode), and can accesses up to 4 GB of GDDR5 memory at 4.8 GHz through a 256-bit interface.
Notebooks equipped with the Radeon HD 8970M GPU are expected to reach the market soon.

Zotac has unveiled a factory-overclocked version of the GeForce GTX Titan video card, dubbed GeForce GTX Titan AMP! Edition. This card runs at 902 MHz (954 MHz in turbo mode) and has 6 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 6,608 MHz through a 384-bit interface.
Just to let you know, the original GTX Titan runs at 837 MHz (876 MHz in turbo mode) and has 6 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 6 GHz through a 384-bit interface.
Today, AMD launched its fastest video card, the Radeon HD 7990. This dual-GPU video card features a core clock of 1000 MHz, 2048 stream processors (4096 in total), 128 TMUs (256 in total), 32 ROPs (64 in total), and the full 384-bit wide GDDR5 memory interface. Each GPU holds 3 GB of memory totaling the card’s memory amount to 6 GB. The memory is accessed at 6 GHz. The two GPUs are tied to the system bus using a PLX PEX8747 48-lane PCI-Express 3.0 switch.

Sapphire has just introduced a 2 GB model to their HD 7790 series of video card.
The Sapphire HD 7790 2 GB OC Edition is a factory-overclocked video card, with core clocks of 1,050 MHz (5% above the stock clock) and memory clocks of 6 GHz (6.66% above the stock clock).
The video board features a new cooler design, which uses a dual heatpipe system and a single aerofoil section fan assembly with dust repelling bearings for maximum efficiency and reliability. One of Sapphire’s proprietary features is the integration into the cooling system of the metal backplate which cools the memory chips on the reverse side of the PCB and helps with PBC rigidity. A finned heatsink attached to the backplate passes through the PCB and extends into the airflow from the fan on the front side of the card, enabling the airflow to carry away the heat from the components on the back of the PCB and reducing memory temperatures to as low as 13 ºC.
Sapphire HD 7700 series supports AMD Eyefinity, now in its second generation. The Sapphire HD 7790 OC Edition has two DVI ports (DVI-I and DVI-D), HDMI and a single DisplayPort output, supporting up to four monitors.
The Sapphire HD 7790 OC Edition model supports the FleX feature, pioneered by Sapphire, that allows three digital displays to be connected to the DVI and HDMI outputs and used in AMD Eyefinity mode without the need for an external active adapter. All four outputs can be used in AMD Eyefinity mode, but the fourth display must be a DisplayPort monitor or connected with an active adapter.

Today, NVIDIA announced the newest member of its family of video cards, the GeForce GTX 650 Ti. Compared to the GeForce GTX 650 Ti, the GeForce GTX 650 Ti Boost features a 5% faster 980 MHz base clock, a higher texture fill rate of 62.7 Gigatexels per second, and 60% more memory bandwidth. When enabled, the Boost Clock pushes the reference clock to 1,033 MHz, 105 MHz higher than the fixed-speed GTX 650 Ti.

Today AMD announced the Radeon HD 7790 video card, which comes to the market to fill a gap between the Radeon HD 7770 GHz Edition and the Radeon HD 7850, and to compete with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 650 Ti.
The Radeon HD 7790 works at 1 GHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory running at 6 GHz through a 128-bit interface, and TDP 85 W.
