The new Microsoft Vista arrives at the stores today, together with the Office 2007. Microsoft says Vista is 'the safest OS in the market'. Part of the security is guaranteed by a system that demands the confirmation and passwords when you download any new software.
The Windows Media Center makes the PC an entertainment center, incorporating advanced functions of video, audio and image. The Aero interface brings 3D effects to the Windows Vista, and create translucent windows that appear to float above the background screen, very similar to what is seen in Mac OS X Tiger and some Linux versions. You can find it cheaper, but suggested by Microsoft prices are:
Full Version •Vista Ultimate: USD 399 •Vista Business: USD 299 •Vista Home Premium: USD 239 •Vista Home Basic: USD 199
Upgrade Version •Vista Ultimate Upgrade: USD 259 •Vista Business Upgrade: USD 199 •Vista Home Premium Upgrade: USD 159 •Vista Home Basic Upgrade: USD 99
