After NetOn AP1900, now it’s time to MSI put on the market another all-in-one PC called Wind Top AE1900. This PC is a self-contained solution featuring an 18.5” touch screen LCD display (native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels; 5 ms response time; 16:9 aspect ratio), an Intel Atom 230 CPU (internal clock of 1.6 GHz), 2 GB RAM, 160 GB hard drive, DVD writer, on-board video (Intel GMA950), WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Gigabit Ethernet, four USB 2.0 ports, card reader (SD, MMC, MS, XD) and an 1.3 Mpixel built-in webcam. Wind Top AE1900 is a great solution to be used in small offices, stores, internet cafes, kiosks, and similar applications where space is a matter. It can be installed with the desktop stand or on the wall. No word on pricing.

Dell Unveils the World's Thinnest Laptop

Dell has launched Adamo, the world’s thinnest laptop, a title previously belonged to Apple Macbook Air. Adamo measures only 0.65”/1.65 cm thick (Macbook Air  measures 0.75” or 1.93 cm thick), weights 4 lbs/1.81 Kg (Macbook Air weights 3 lbs/1.36 Kg), has a 13.4” LCD display (aspect ratio of 16:9; native resoultion of 1280 x 720), Core 2 Duo processor, 2 GB DDR3 (up to 4 GB), 128 GB SSD drive, Intel GMX4500 graphic engine, Gigabit Ethernet, WiFi 802.11n, Bluetooth 2.1 technology, integrated 1.3 Mpixel webcam, more than 5 hours of battery life (using Li-Polymer cells), two USB ports, one USB/eSATA port and comes with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit installed.

Adamo is available in pearl or onyx color and costs USD 1,999 (1.2 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9300 and 2 GB RAM) or USD 2,699 (1.4 GHz Core 2 Duo SU9400 and 4 GB RAM).

During CeBIT 2009 ASUS showed the newest member of Eee PC family, 1008HA. Unfortunately ASUS didn’t provide information on the product specs, but we know that this netbook will come with 802.11 b/g/n network, will support Bluetooth, 3G and WiMAX technologies, and will feature an embedded 1.3 Mpixel webcam. No word on pricing and availability.

Laptop with Two Displays

Our editor Gabriel Torres was completely right when he said on his article called Laptops: What Ideas are Likely to Reach the Market? that there were market for laptops with two displays and that in short time manufacturers would launch products based on this innovation. A company called gScreen Corp. has announced the launch of gScreen G400, the first laptop on the market featuring two 15” LCD displays. This laptop will be equipped with Core 2 Duo T9600 (2.8 GHz) or P8400 processor (2.26 GHz), can be configured with up to 8 GB RAM and hard disk with up to 500 GB, nVidia Quadro FX 2700M Graphics with 512MB dedicated memory (or nVidia GeForce 9800M GT with 512MB dedicated memory), 6-cell or 9-cell battery, will weight 7.7 lbs (3.5 Kg) and will come with Windows Vista (or Windows XP Professional) operating system installed. Its price has not been defined yet, but users interested in this product can enter its pre-order program.

LG Launches X120 Netbook

During the CES 2009 last month, LG showed its X120 netbook. Now they’re making it official. X120 is a netbook (mini notebook) based on Atom N270 processor (1.6 GHZ) featuring a 10.9” display, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB hard disk, built-in 1.3 Mpixel webcam and embedded HSPA connectivity (3G communication). X120 weights 4.19 lbs (1.9 Kg) and measures 10.34” (W) x 7.02” (D) x 1.29” (H) (26,4 cm x 17,85 cm x 3,27 cm) with 3-cell battery or 10.34” (W) x 7.02” (D) x 1.49” (H) (26,4 cm x 17,85 cm x 3,78 cm) with 6-cell battery. According to LG X120 will reach the market next month. Its price has not been revealed.
