ASUS has introduced VENTO TA-M2, a mid-tower case equipped with four 5 ¼” external bays, one 3 ½” external bay, four 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards (using tool-less mechanisms) and a top panel with two USB ports, audio connectors and a eSATA port (optional). As for cooling, this case has a 120-mm frontal fan (that glows in blue), a 120-mm rear fan and two 120-mm side fans (optional). No word on pricing and availability.

Lian Li Launches ARMORSUIT PC-P50 Gaming Case

Lian Li has just unveiled its newest gaming case within ARMORSUIT series, PC-P50. It is an aluminum mid-tower case equipped with nine 5 ¼” external bays, three 3 ½” internal bays (taking 5 ¼” bays), eight slots for expansion cards, one 120-mm frontal fan (speed of 1,200 rpm), two 120-mm top fans (speed of 1,000 rpm), one 120-mm rear fan (speed of 1,500 rpm), two USB ports and audio connectors. PC-P50 also features tool-less mechanism for expansion card installation, watercooling support and a removable anti-vibration HDD cage to avoid natural vibration produced by the hard drive propagating to the chassis. According to the manufacturer this case will reach the market by the end of this month in two flavors: standard (USD 170) and AMD-themed version (USD 240).

Chieftec Announces Gaming Case

Chieftec has announced its newest gaming case in their Dragon series, CH-07. It’s a mid-tower case featuring four 5 ¼” external bays, six 3 ½” internal bays, one 120-mm front fan (blue LED), two 120-mm top fans (blue LED), one 220-mm side fan, a 120-mm rear fan (optional), two USB ports, one eSATA port and audio connectors. CH-07 weights 24.25 lbs or 11 Kg (without power supply) and measures 21.25” x 7.97” x 18.89” or 54 cm x 20.5 cm x 48 cm (H x W x D). No word on pricing and availability.

Lian Li Launches PC-C39 HTPC Case

Lian Li has just launched PC-C39, an aluminum HTPC case (Home Theater PCs; designed to be used in computers connected to home theater systems in order to play movies and music) equipped with one 5 ¼” external bay, two 3 ½” internal bays, four slots for expansion cards, two 70-mm rear fans (1,500 rpm), two USB 2.0 ports, one Firewire port and audio connectors. PC-C39 measures 17.12” x 3.81" x 15.74” or 43.5 cm x 9.7 cm x 40 cm (W x H x D), weights 8 lbs (3.65 Kg), is available in black or silver and comes with a remote control. According to Lian Li PC-C39 case will reach the market by the end of May costing USD 120.

Lian Li Launches PC-B10 Case

Lian Li has launched PC-B10, an aluminum Micro-ATX case equipped with five 5 ¼” external bays, one 3 ½” external bay (optional), four 3 ½” internal bays for hard disks in an anti-vibration cage, and seven slots for expansion cards (using tool-less mechanisms). As for cooling, PC-B10 has two front fans (one of 140-mm working at 900 rpm and other of 120-mm working at 1,500 rpm). On its top panel you can find two USB ports, a Firewire port and audio connectors. PC-B10 case will be available by the and of April costing USD 250.

NZXT Launches Panzerbox Case

NZXT has just announced Panzerbox mid-tower case. Built in aluminum, this case features three 5 ¼” external bays, four 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, two 190-mm fans (front and top) working at 1,100 rpm and supports an optional 120-mm rear fan. The Panzerbox is expected to reach the market late April at about USD 119.99.

Thermaltake Intros New HTPCs Case Series

Thermaltake has extended its HTPCs (Home Theater PCs) product offers with the launch of DH202 case series. Three models were launched: VJ80001N2Z, VJ80011N2Z and VJ80051N2Z. All of them measure 6.6” x 16.8” x 18.1” or 16,8 cm x 42,65 cm x 44 cm (H x W x D), have an aluminum front panel, one 5 ¼” bay, three 3 ½” internal bays and one 120-mm frontal fan working at 1,400 rpm (there’s a place for two 60-mm fans on the rear panel). VJ80051N2Z also features a 7” touchscreen LCD display for multimedia functions. No word on pricing.

Cooler Master Launches Scout Case

Cooler Master has just increased its CM Storm product line (targeted to gamers) with the launch of Scout case. This case has five 3 ½” internal bays, four 5 ¼” external bays, provides support for 1.8” or 2.5” SSDs and features dark automotive painting. As for cooling, Scout has a 140-mm frontal intake fan, a 140-mm top and a 120-mm rear exhaust fans, and provides a location for another two 120-mm optional fans. On its top panel you can find four USB ports, one eSATA port, one FireWire port and audio connectors. This case also has several features like cable management, screwless mechanisms for hard drive installation, anti-thef device, acrylic-side panel and integrated LED-switch, letting you decide exactly when to show off the red lights. No word on pricing and availability.

Lian Lin has just unveiled PC-A06F mid-tower case. Built in aluminum, this case has four 5 ¼ external bays, three 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, tool-less mechanisms for optical drive installation, weighs 8.37 lbs (3.8 kg) and measures 7.36” x 14.76” x 19.29” or 187 mm x 375 mm x 490 mm (W x H x D). PC-A06F has a 140-mm frontal fan (900 rpm) and a 120-mm top fan (1.000 rpm). Anti-vibration HDD cage avoids natural vibration produced by the hard drive propagating to the chassis. CES 2009: Dragon Case from Lian Li

During this CES Lian Li showed a case inspired by the new AMD Dragon platform. This case is made of red anodized aluminum featuring seven slots for expansion cards (using a high-quality aluminum mechanism to hold daughter boards; slots covers are meshed in order to improve airflow inside the case), a hard disk drive cage supporting up to three hard disks (this cage takes three of the nine 5 ¼” bays from this case) and a cable organizer. As you can see this case has no external 3 ½” bay. As for cooling, this case has a 120-mm front fan (to cool down the hard disk drive cage), a 120-mm rear fan and two 120-mm top fans. On this case the power supply is installed on its bottom part. Lian Li didn’t say when and for how much this unit will reach the market.
