Antec has officially announced the One, the latest addition to their Gaming Series of computer cases. The One supports ATX, microATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards, features three 5.25” bays, five 3.5” bays, two 2.5” bays, seven slots for expansion cards, one 120 mm fan on the top panel, one 120 mm fan on the rear panel, and two USB 3.0 ports. It supports video cards up to 10.5” (266 mm) long and CPU coolers up to 6.1” (155 mm) tall. The Antec One has a suggested retail price of USD 59.95.  click to enlarge

Cooler Master has just launched the Elite 361 (RC-361-KKN1), a computer case that can be placed either horizontally or vertically, depending on how much space you have available on your desk. The Elite 361 supports microATX and ATX motherboards, features one 5.25” external bay, one 3.5” external bay, four 3.5” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, two USB 2.0 ports, and one 120 mm fan on the top panel. Antec is launching their new Three Hundred Two computer case, a product that comes with three 5.25” external bays, six 3.5” internal bays, two 2.5” internal bays, and eight slots for expansion cards. As for cooling, the Three Hundred Two is equipped with one 120 mm fan on the rear panel and one 140 mm fan on the top panel. BitFenix has released a bigger version of their mid-tower case, Shinobi. Dubbed Shinobi XL, this new full-tower version supports Mini-ITX, mATX, ATX, XL-ATX motherboards, and comes with five 5.25” external bays, seven 3.5” internal bays, eight 2.5” internal bays (using 3.5” bays and 5.25” adapter), and nine slots for expansion cards. The Shinobi XL is equipped with four USB 3.0 ports, one 230 mm fan on the front panel, one 120 mm fan on the rear panel, and one 230 mm fan on the top panel. It supports video cards up to 19.37” (492 mm) long and CPU coolers with up to 7.59” (193 mm) tall. BitFenix Shinobi XL will be available in March 2012 with an estimated price of USD 149.

During this CES, Corsair announced two new mid-tower computer cases, the Obsidian Series 550D and the Carbide Series 300R. The Obsidian Series 550D offers eight expansion slots, four external 5.25” bays, and six internal 3.5”/2.5” bays. It has an aluminum front door that can be opened to either side; you can also remove it. It is focused on silence, as the side, front, and top panels have a foam sheet to reduce noise. During this CES, SilverStone presented two new computer cases that the company will be releasing this year. The FT03-Mini, which will arrive on the market in March, is a smaller version of the FT03 that was released during the CES 2011. It features aluminum panels and a steel frame, and supports only Mini-ITX motherboards. Due to its reduced size, it only supports SFX12V power supplies. It also only supports slim optical drives, and has one internal 3.5” bay and two internal 2.5” bays. It comes with a 140 mm fan inside (SilverStone AP141 “Air Perpetrator”) installed at its bottom panel. The GD08 is SilverStone’s next HTPC case, to be released this year. Its main feature is a removable hard drive cage with handles. The case comes with three 120 mm fans, and there is space for the installation of one 120 mm fan on the right side panel, one 120 mm fan on the left side of the bottom panel, and two 80 mm fans on the rear panel. It has two external 5.25” bays, eight internal 3.5” bays, and two internal 2.5” bays. Its front panel is made of aluminum, but the other panels are made of steel.  click to enlarge

In Win is going to release an aluminum open-frame case during this year: the XFRAME. It will measure 13 x 20.4 x 16.1 inches (325 x 518 x 408 mm), will support E-ATX, ATX, and microATX motherboards, and will have two 5.25” bays and six 3.5” bays (three on the front and three on the side of the unit). Lian Li released the PC-100, a case where the motherboard is installed with its rear panel facing the front of the case. According to the manufacturer, this inverted design was done in order to improve ventilation. MSI has launched a new line of computer cases aimed at PC enthusiasts that will be exclusively distributed by Pro-Com Products in North America. Dubbed Interceptor Series, it is comprised of two ATX models, the Nighthawk and the Raptor. The DarkForce is the newest full-tower case from Gelid. Sharkoon is a company located in Germany that offers a wide range of PC components, including USB memories, power supplies and PC cases. The latest computer case from Sharkoon is the Tauron, which is a mid-tower model that comes in three color versions: black with a red interior, black with a green interior, and all-white. The Tauron supports microATX and ATX motherboards, features two 5.25” external bays, one 3.5”/5.25” external bay, seven 2.5”/3.5” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, an acrylic side window, and two pre-drilled holes on the rear panel for routing watercooling tubing. It is equipped with four fans, one 120 mm model on the rear panel, one 170 mm model on the top panel, and two 120 mm models with LEDs on the front panel.
