NZXT has just announced its newest mid-tower case targeted to gamers, Tempest EVO. Built-up in steel and all-black painted, this case has three 5 ¼” external bays (or up to six if you remove the hard disk drive cage), one 3 ½” external bay, eight 3 ½” internal bays for hard disk drives, seven slots for expansion cards, two USB ports, one eSATA port, watercooling support, acrylic-side panel and holes on the motherboard tray to route cables. As for cooling, Tempest EVO comes with six fans: two of 120-mm one the front panel (blue LED), one of 120-mm no the rear panel, one of 120-mm on the side panel (blue LED) and two of 140-mm on the top panel. Akasa has launched Freedom Xone mid-tower case (AK-BKXNE-01). Featuring four 5 ¼” external bays, one 3 ½” external bay, five 3 ½” internal bays and seven slots for expansion cards, this new case from Akasa is built-up in zinc-coated steel (SECC) and measures 17.51” x 7.87” x 18.97” or 44.5 cm x 20 cm x 48.2 cm (H x W x D). Thermaltake just unveiled its newest full-tower case specially designed for gamers. Element V (VL20001W2Z) is built-up in zinc-coated steel, measures 21” x 8 ¾” x 21 1/8” (H x W x D), weights 37.5 Lbs (17 Kg), has five 5 ¼” external bays, six 3 ½” internal bays, one 2.5” internal bay, seven slots for expansion cards, two 120-mm frontal fans, one 200-mm top fan, one 230-mm on the left panel, one 120-mm on the rear panel and supports a 200-mm or 120-mm optional fan on the top panel or two 50-mm optional fans on the rear panel. Built-up in steel and all-black painted (even internally), Gamma has four 5 ¼” external bays, seven 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, meshed side panel, tool-less mechanism for hard drives installation and water-cooling support. Lian Li recently announced PC-B25F mid-tower case. Featuring three 5 ¼” external bays (one of them can be converted into a 3 ½” bay), six 3 ½” internal bays and eight slots for expansion cards, this new case from Lian Lin is made entirely in aluminum and measures 8.26” x 19.48” x 19.29” or 21 cm x 49,5 cm x 49 cm (W x H x D). As for cooling, PC-B25F comes with three 120-mm fans (two on the front panel and one on the rear panel; 1,200 rpm) and two 140-mm fans on the top panel (1,000 rpm). Its side, top and front panels are removable and the slot covers are meshed in order to improve air flow. This case has anti-vibration mechanisms for hard drives and tool-less mechanisms for hard drives and daughter cards installation. Lian Li has launched a full-tower case called Tyr PC-X1000. All built-up in aluminum, this new case features three 5 ¼” external bays (one of them can be converted to a 3 ½” bay), six 3 ½” internal bays and eight slots for expansion cards. Tyr PC-X1000 has several features like removable motherboard tray, watercooling support, anti-vibration mechanism for power supply, tool-less mechanisms for daughter cards, hard drives and motherboard installation, dust filter on the case base, no sharp edges where you could cut yourself while assembling the PC and is divided in chambers to improve airflow. As for cooling, Tyr PC-X1000 comes with Five 140-mm fans (1,200 rpm), three located on the front panel and two located on the rear panel. This case has four USB, one Firewire and one e-SATA connectors, besides the traditional audio jacks. NZXT has just announced the launch of their latest mid-tower case, Beta EVO. Built-up in steel and all-black painted (even internally), Beta EVO has four 5 ¼” external bays, five 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards, water-cooling support and tool-less mechanisms for hard drive installation. Beta EVO doesn’t come with any fans, but it support up to six 120-mm fans (one on the rear panel, two on the top panel, one on the front panel e other two on the side panel) and one 140-mm fan on the top panel. The motherboard tray is cut below where the CPU is located, facilitating the replacement of the CPU cooler if you decide to install a CPU cooler that requires the change of the hardware located behind the motherboard. SilverStone has announced the launch of its latest HTPC case (Home Theater PCs; designed to be used in computers connected to home theater systems in order to play movies and music), GD03. It is made of zinc-coated steel, but its front panel is made of aluminum. This case features two 5 ¼” external bays, three 3 ½” external bays (two allowing hard drive hot-swapping), five 3 ½” internal bays and seven slots for expansion cards. As for cooling, GD03 comes with two 80-mm fans (2.050 RPM; 21 dBA) and places for two 80-mm optional fans on the front panel and two 80-mm optional fans on the side panel. NZXT has just announced its newest case targeted to gamers, M59. Featuring four 5 ¼” external bays and seven 3 ½” internal bays, this new NZXT mid-tower case has an aggressive looks, being totally painted in black (even inside) and having an acrylic side panel. It is made of steel, its front panel is meshed to improve airflow, the motherboard tray has holes to route cables (keeping the interior of the case organized, thus improving airflow), supports watercooling system installation and has seven slots for expansion cards (slot covers are meshed to improve airflow).
