OCZ unveiled the EliteXStream power supply family for high-powered gaming systems and workstations. OCZ designed the 800W and 1000W EliteXStream by utilizing the "single +12V rail" design. Featuring up to 86% efficiency, the new EliteXstream Series has Active PFC, four 8-pin (6+2) PCI-E and 17 drive connectors. These PSUs are kept supremely cool with a large 120mm fan and feature a standard ATX power supply form factor.

OCZ Intros 4 New Silencer Power Supplies

Power OCZ released new additions to the Silencer line of power supplies from PC Power & Cooling: the 370W, 420W, 500W and a 500W EPS12V Dell compatible model. All the new Silencer models have a single +12 Volt Rail for optimum power distribution to all components.

The Silencer 370 ATX (370W/410W peak) and The Silencer 420 ATX (420W/460W peak) reduces noise up to 90%, has 82% efficiency, 10 drive connectors and an automatic fan speed control.

The Silencer 500 Dell (500W/550W peak) reduces noise up to 90%, has SATA drive connectors, an automatic fan speed control and guarantees '30%-100% more power than factory Dell units'.

The Silencer 500 EPS12V (500W/550W peak) reduces noise up to 90%, has 82% efficiency, 13 drive connectors (6 SATA, 1 mini) and an automatic fan speed control.

Corsair Intros HX1000W Power Supply

Corsair announced the HX1000W power supply unit (PSU), the world’s first 1000 watt PSU to be certified under the 3-way Nvidia SLI Technology Certification Program, says the manufacturer. The Corsair HX1000W features twin-transformer, true independent dual +12V rail design, 140mm temperature-controlled fan, DC-to-DC conversion and high-quality solid state capacitors.

It is designed for multi-core CPUs and multi-GPU systems and guarantees full 1000W output at 50ºC operating temperature. The new power supply also has Active Power Factor Correction (PFC) and 80% or more energy efficiency. It will be available in late March priced at USD 280.

OCZ unveiled new Turbo-Cool 860 power supply from PC Power & Cooling, which features adjustable rails and ultra-high efficiency (84%).
 
Users can adjust power rails independently (+3V, +5V, + 12V) via two externally accessible pots. The new Turbo Cool works at 860W Continuous (930W Peak) and has 4 PCI-E and 15 Drive Connector. It also has the industry's longest lifespan (7 years).

Thermaltake announces its top of the line PSU, Toughpower 1500W. According to Thermaltake, the new PSU has the highest output wattage among all SLI certified PSU in the market.

The Toughpower 1500W comes with four 6pin PCI-E connectors and four 8pin PCI-E connectors. Moreover, it possesses four independent +12V rails, stable voltage (±3%), 140mm dual ball bearing fan, and a high efficiency of over 85%.

OCZ announced the new 500 Watt StealthXStream Power Supply, which features a large 120 mm fan and a standard ATX power supply form factor. Outputs includes a single PCI-Express connector and a 4/8 CPU auxiliary connector.

The OCZ StealthXStream provides Universal Input and Active PFC (Power Factor Correction) and high efficiency (80% at 115 V and 83% at 230V). It has four +12 V (18 A) rails.

Corsair Intros Power Supply Lineup TX Series

Corsair has announced a new power supply lineup: the Corsair TX Series. This new family is inspired by Corsair's HX Series so, according to Corsair, the power supplies are high-wattage and high-performance. The TX Series comes with dedicated single +12V rail, 80% efficiency ratings and Active PFC. Available in two models: CMPSU-650TX (650Watt) and CMPSU-750TX (750Watt). They have two and four PCI-Express 8-pin (6+2) cables on the 650W and 750W models respectively and thermally controlled double ball-bearing 140mm fan on 750 watt and 120mm on 650W. They cost USD 179.99 and USD 199.99, respectively.

OCZ Technology announced the release of the Turbo-Cool 1200 power supply from PC Power & Cooling. The 1200 W model has a "single +12V rail" design, for optimum power distribution to all components. It has an efficiency rating of 83%.

Corsair has launched the new VX family of power supplies.  The power supply incorporates a single +12V power rail that delivers continuous power under heavy loads. It features 120mm double ball-bearing fan, PFC active, universal AC input 90~264V which automatically scans and detects the correct voltage and 6 Serial ATA connectors. The maximum current outputs of the VX450W are +3.3V (20A), +5V (20A), +12V (33A), -12V (0.8A). And the model VX550W have maximum current outputs of  +3.3V (30A), +5V (20A), +12V (41A), -12V (0.8A).

OCZ announced the new StealthXStream Power Supply, with 600W PSU. Accordingo to the OCZ, even at peak loads, it remains virtually silent and cludes flashy LEDs ensuring the power supply is not seen or heard.

It features a large 120mm fan, universal Input and cctive PFC (Power Factor Correction). StealthXStream provides two PCI-Express cables, a 4/8 CPU auxiliary connector and six SATA for peripheral devices. The power supply also features 4 channel +12 V output (18 A each), a +3.3V (36 A) an a +5V (30 A).
