Scythe has launched the Chouriki 2 series of power supplies, which is available in 650 W, 750 W, 850 W, and 1,000 W models. These new units comes in modular or non-modular flavors, are compatible with ATX12V 2.3 and EPS12V standards, have 80 Plus Silver certification, protections against overcurrent (OCP), overvoltage (OVP), overpower (OPP), short-circuit (SCP), undervoltage (UVP), and overtemperature (OTP), and are cooled by a 135-mm fan (Kama Flex model: 1,350 rpm). Antec has announced High Current Pro series of power supplies, which includes 750 W, 850 W, 1000 W and 1200 W models. These new units have 80 Plus Gold certification, active PFC circuit, DC-DC design, four +12 V rails (five in the case of 1000 W and 1200 W models), a 135-mm fan (1200 W has also an 80-mm fan on the rear part) and Japanese caps.
