OCZ has just announced its first power supplies within its Fatal1ty series, co-developed with Johnathan "Fatal1ty" Wendel, 12-time World champion, to meet the specific needs of gamers enthusiastic. Three models were launched: 400 W, 550 W and 700 W. These units are compliant with the ATX12V v2.2 and EPS12V standards (click here to learn more about power supply standards), have efficiency over 80%, modular cabling system (only on 550 W model), active PFC, a 120-mm fan that glows in red when turned on and protections against overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP) and short-circuit (SCP). Cooler Master has increased its Real Power Pro power supply line-up with the launch of 360 W (RS-360-ASAA-D3), 400 W (RS-400-ASAA-D3) and 460 W (RS-460-ASAA-D3) models. These new power supplies are ATX12V V2.31-compliant, have efficiency over 85%, active PFC, two +12 V rails and protections against overvoltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), overload (OPP), overcurrent (OCP), over temperature (OTP) and short-circuit (SCP).

Corsair has just lunched Power series of economical power supply units. The first model within this series is CX400W and as its name suggests it is a 400 W unit featuring active PFC, efficiency up to 80%, a 12 V rail and a 120-m fan. Its MSRP is of USD 60.
GlacialPower has expanded its AL PSU series with the launch of GP-AL650. This unit is able to deliver 650 W (peak), has active PFC, dual +12V rail, efficiency up to 86%, 80-mm or 120 mm fan and protections against over current (OCP), over power (OPP), over voltage (OVP), over temperature (OTP) and short-circuit (SCP). Sigma has expanded its Monster line-up with the launch of SP1000C, a 1,000 W power supply featuring active PFC, efficiency up to 80%, four +12V rails, modular cabling system, a 120-mm fan (that glows in blue when the system is turned on) and protection against overload (OVP). This unit also comes with a main motherboard cable using a 20/24-pin connector, one ATX12V connector, one EPS12V connector, one 6-pin video card auxiliary power connector and one 8-pin video card auxiliary power connector. After launching MAXIMA Force series, Lian Li is now unveiling Silent Force power supply series. Available in 650 W (PS-S650GE), 750 W (PS-S750GE) and 850 W (PS-S850GE) models, power supplies from this new series use Japanese caps, have active PFC, efficiency over 80%, modular cabling system, two +12 V rails (650 W model) or four +12V rails (750 W and 850 W models), a 135 mm fan and protections against overvoltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), overload (OPP), overcurrent (OCP), over temperature (OTP) and short-circuit (SCP). Thermaltake has expanded its Toughpower QFan power supply line-up with the launch of 750 W (W0203) and 850 W (W0204) models. This new PSU uses Japanese capacitors, has active PFC, a single +12V rail, modular cabling system, efficiency of over 80%, 140-mm fans and protections against overvoltage (OVP), overcurrent (OCP) and short-circuit (SCP). Both new PSUs are set to become available before the end of this quarter.
Arctic Cooling, a known cooling solutions manufacture, has just entered the power supply market with the launch of Fusion 550R PSU. This unit, developed in cooperation with Seasonic, can offer a continuous power of 500 W (550 W peak), has active PFC, efficiency up to 86%, an 80 mm fan which speed is automatically controlled (700-2,000 rpm) according to power supply load and temperature, and protections against overvoltage (OVP), overload (OPP) and short-circuit (SCP). Fusion 550R power supply will reach the market next month with a MSRP of USD 94.95.
