Thermaltake Intros Toughpower XT 1,275 W Platinum Snow Edition

Thermaltake has just introduced a white version of their Toughpower XT 1,275 W Platinum power supply. It has the same specs as the original model, such as compatibility with ATX12V v2.3 and EPS12V v2.92 standards, a modular cabling system, 80 Plus Platinum certification, an active PFC circuit, two +12 V rails, a DC-DC converter design on the secondary, Japanese and solid capacitors, a 140 mm dual-ball bearing fan, and over voltage (OVP), under voltage (UVP), over current (OCP), over power (OPP), and short-circuit (SCP) protections.

Thermaltake did not mention the price of the white version, but the Toughpower XT 1,275 W Platinum in black is priced at USD 340.

Corsair Upgrades GS Series Power Supplies

The Gaming Series (GS) is an entry-level power supply series from Corsair. It is comprised of three models: 600 W, 700 W and 800 W. Corsair has upgraded these models to make them compatible with the 80 Plus Bronze certification. They also include a new 140 mm temperature-controlled fan that stops spinning in order to reduce noise levels when the power supply falls below 20% of its wattage rating.

Corsair GS Series power supplies are available now from Corsair’s worldwide network of authorized distributors and resellers, with the following suggested retail prices:

OCZ Intros Fatal1ty 1000 W Power Supply

The Fatal1ty 1000 W is the latest OCZ’s PSU targeted at gamers and enthusiasts. We’ve already seen this product during the CES 2012.

The OCZ Fatal1ty 1000 W power supply has active PFC circuitry, a modular cabling system where each wire features an individual nylon sleeve, 80 Plus Gold certification, a +12 V rail, and a 140 mm double ball-bearing fan with red LED. The unit also comes with Japanese solid capacitors rated at 105°C.

Huntkey Intros Universal Notebook Adapter

Huntkey has launched the X-MAN 90W, a universal notebook adapter that provides efficiency up to 89% and comes with a series of 10 different power plugs in order to match several different notebook models with voltages between 18 V and 20 V. Antec has launched the EarthWatts Platinum series of power supplies, which are available in 450 W, 550 W, and 650 W models. We’ve already reviewed the 650 W model, which proved to be a great product.

Thermaltake is expanding both their Toughpower and Smart power supply series by adding Toughpower 550 W, 650 W and 750 W models as well as Smart 750 W and 850 W models.

Toughpower units have 80 Plus Gold certification, active PFC circuitry, Japanese capacitors, a 140 mm fluid dynamic bearing fan, a modular cabling system, and over current, over voltage, under voltage, over power, over temperature and short-circuit protections.

Smart units have 80 Plus Bronze certification, active PFC circuitry, Japanese capacitors (in 750 W and 850 W models), a 140 mm fan, a modular cabling system, and over current, over voltage, under voltage, over power and short-circuit protections.

Both of these series are in compliance with Intel ATX 12V 2.3 and EPS12V 2.92 standards.

Antec has just announced the release of the High Current Gamer M series of power supplies, which are available in 400 W (USD 89.99), 520 W (USD 99.95), and 620 W (USD 119.95) versions.
