Scythe Launches Kaze Maru Case Fan

Scythe has just launched Kaze Maru, a 140-mm case fan series which is a great option for the users willing to improve airflow inside their system. Three models were launched within this series: SY1425SL12L (500 rpm and 10.80 dBA), SY1425SL12M (1,200 rpm and 26.58 dBA) and SY1425SL12H (1,900 rpm and 41.13 dBA). Despite of being 140-mm fans they can fit in 120-mm holders. You can even replace the existing 120-mm fan on your CPU cooler (if your CPU cooler uses a 120-mm fan, of course) with one of Kaze Maru fans, thus improving the airflow inside your case. It's MSRP is of US$ 19.99.

ASUS Intros Royal Knight CPU Cooler

ASUS has just unveiled Royal Knight, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (socket 775) and AMD (sockets 1207/AM2/AM2+) processors. Its base is made of copper with six heat-pipes connecting its base to the cooler’s cooper fins. Royal Knight weight 27.87 oz (790 g) and it uses a 120-mm fan which speed is automatically controlled (800-1,300 rpm) by the system according to CPU’s temperature. No word about pricing and availability.

Another Liquid Cooling Solution for Radeon HD 4870 X2

After Asetek, now it’s time to CoolIT Systems unveils a liquid cooling solution for the newest AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 video card. According to the company, they pushed a Radeon HD 4870 X2 equipped with their new liquid cooling solution to work internally at 880 MHz (13.5% above default clock of  750 MHz) accessing its memory at 1 GHz real (11% above default clock of 900 MHz). The product will be available next month and information about price wasn’t disclosed.

Swiftech has just unveiled Apogee GTZ, a water block (part used on liquid cooling systems) made of copper and originally designed for Intel processors based on LGA775 , although you can also use it with AMD (sockets 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+) and Intel (sockets 603/604/771) processors by using optional parts sold separately (US$ 9.95). Apogee GTZ has a price tag of US$ 69.95.

Asetek’s LCLC liquid cooling solution is now available for AMD/ATI latest Radeon HD 4870 X2 video card. This kit comes already pre-assembled and has only two parts: GPU cold plates and heat exchanger. Asetek says that this product can lower Radeon HD 4870 GPUs working temperature as much as 28°C. Asetek Low Cost Liquid Cooling (LCLC) is targeted to OEMs and cannot be found on retail.

Gelid has just unveiled Wing, a fans series for case designed for gamers and modders. Available in three sizes (80 mm, 90 mm and 120 mm), Wing fans feature a patented Nanoflux bearing (NFB), which expands fans’ lifespan and reduces noise level. Sparkle has launched Calibre Fly (VDT2000), a VGA cooler compatible with several graphics cards from NVIDIA and AMD/ATI. This cooler has two heat-pipes made of cooper and two 80-mm fans with fan speed of 3,000 rpm. Information about price and availability wasn’t disclosed. Thermaltake Launches RamOrd Memory Cooler

Thermaltake has just launched a memory cooler designed for DDR and DDR2 modules, called RamOrd (CL-R0029). This cooler has a 6 mm heat-pipe connecting its heatspread to the cooler’s aluminum fins. This product uses a 50-mm fan that works at 4,500 rpm. RamOrb is also angle adjustable for enhancing mechanical compatibility. The cooler weights 136 g (4.80 oz) and it produces a 20 dBA noise level.

V1 AX (CL-P0508) is a CPU cooler designed for Intel (socket 775) and AMD (socket 940/AM2/AM2+) processors that has been recently launched by Thermaltake. Its base is made of copper with four heat-pipes connecting its base to two cooler’s structures featuring aluminum fins. Between these structures there is a 110-mm fan that glows in blue when the system is turned on. The fan speed can be manually-adjustable (1.300 rpm to 2,000 rpm) through a knob that can be installed on the back of the case in any available expansion slot. V1 AX weight 14,81 oz (420 g) and has the following dimensions: 147 mm x 92 mm x 143 mm (L x W x H). Its MSRP isn’t available yet.

Koolance Launches Cooling Blocks for Radeon HD 4800 cards

Both blocks are made of nickel-plated copper, their dimensions are 6.25" x 5.75" x 0.62" (15.9 cm x 14.6 cm x 1.6 cm), weight 1.5 pounds (680g), they have an acrylic lid allowing coolant visibility under the logo and are priced at US$ 92.99.

Danamics Liquid-metal CPU Cooler

Danamics has just launched LM10, a CPU cooler completely different from regular ones. It has an electromagnetic pump that circulates liquid-metal across the cooler’s fins. This liquid-metal has higher thermal conductivity than other cooling liquids. LM10 is compact, has no moving parts and others components traditionally used in watercooling solutions such as hoses, reservoirs and radiators. You can also install up to two fans on this cooler.
