ASUS Launches Triton 88 CPU Cooler

ASUS has just increased its CPU cooler family with the launch of Triton 88. This cooler is compatible with Intel (sockets 775 and 1,366) and AMD (sockets AM2, AM2+, F) processors, has copper base and six heatpipes connecting its base to the cooler’s aluminum fins. Triton 88 also has one 120-mm fan (that glows in blue when turned on) with speed between 800 rpm and 2,100 rpm producing a noise level of 20 dBA during normal operation. No word on pricing and availability.

Thermaltake Launches Notebook Cooler

Thermaltake has just launched Xaser S1000 (CLN0005), a cooler made of aluminum targeted to the notebook market. This product is equipped with two 70-mm fans (with fan speed of 1,200 rpm producing a noise level up to 18 dBA) that glows in blue when are turned on, is powered via USB (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and weights 13,76 oz (390 g). Xaser S1000 should reach the market in a few weeks and so far its price was not disclosed.

Lian Li Launches Copper Radiators For PC-A70 and PC-A7010 Cases

Lian Li has launched two top panels featuring a copper radiador (piece used on water-cooling systems) for those owning PC-A70 or PC-A7010 PC cases. T-7024W and T-7022W replace the cases' stock panels, feature two fans (140-mm for the T-7024W and 120-mm for the T-7022W) working at 1,500 rpm, audio connectors, one Firewire port, one eSATA port and four USB 2.0 ports. The T-7024W and T-7022W panels have recommended price of USD 200 and USD 120, respectively.

Swiftech has launched Caldera, a cooling system targeted to AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2 video cards composed of a waterblock (part used on liquid cooling systems) that cools both GPU's and a passive heatsink to cool the rest of the components such as the memory and voltage regulators. Lian Li Intros the TR-5F Fan Controller + 120-mm Fan Kit

Lian Li, best known for its PC cases, has just launched TR-5F, a kit comprised with a fan controller (TR-5A) and a 120-mm fan (CF-1215M). TR-5A controller takes one 5 ¼” bay, features one LCD screen that shows information about fan speed, temperature and hard disk access, has four temperature probes and can have up to four fans hooked up to it. The 120-mm fan spins up to 1,500 rpm producing a maximum noise level of 26.25 dBA. This product is priced at US$ 55.

Glacialtech Launches UFO V51 CPU Cooler

Glacialtech has just launched its UFO V51 cooler line-up compatible with Intel (sockets 775/1366) and AMD (sockets 754/939/940/AM2/F) processors. Available in two flavors, UFO 51 Silent and UFO 51 PWM, these new CPU coolers have copper base, copper heatpipes, aluminum heatsinks and two 92-mm fans. On UFO 51 Silent model the fans have speed of 1,600 rpm producing a maximum noise level of 19 dBA (per fan), while no UFO 51 PWM model the fan speed (800 rpm to 2,500 rpm) is controlled by the motherboard via PWM producing a maximum noise level of 30 dBA (per fan). Geil Launches EVO Cyclone Memory Cooler

Geil has launched a memory cooler called EVO Cyclone (GMCEC01). This cooler has a neat feature: its 50-mm fan, with fan speed of 3,400 rpm and noise level up to 21 dBA, has a LED display and a thermal sensor that shows in real time its fan speed and room temperature, providing an awesome effect when used on systems equipped with a case featuring a transparent side panel. EVO Cyclone also allows the user to adjust its height in order to be installed on memory modules with large heatsinks. This cooler weights 4,76 oz (135 g) and will reach the market soon. No word on pricing.

Akasa has launched its Smart Fan case series comprised by tree models:

  • AK-FN051: 80-mm with fan speed (800 rpm to 2,300 rpm) controlled via PWM, fan airflow up to 27.78 cfm and noise level up to 23.1 dBA.
  • AK-FN052: 92-mm with fan speed (350 rpm to 1,900 rpm) controlled via PWM, fan airflow up to 35.57 cfm and noise level up to 21.97 dBA.
  • AK-FN053: 120-mm with fan speed (500 rpm to 1,500 rpm) controlled via PWM, fan airflow up to 50.54 cfm and noise level up to 24.6 dBA.

All models feature sleeving bearing and anti-vibration mounting pins. No word on pricing and availability.

Titan Launches Cooler for Intel Core i7 CPUs

Titan has just announced the launch of FENRIR (TTC-NK85TZ), a cooler compatible with the newest Intel Core i7 processors. This cooler features one 120-mm fan with speed (800 rpm to 2,200 rpm) controlled via PWM and four 8-mm copper heatpipes making direct contact with the processor. Thermaltake Launches Fanless 330 VGA Cooler

Thermaltake has officially launched Fanless 330 (CL-G0115), a VGA cooler compatible with several graphic cards from ATI and NVIDIA. This cooler has no fan, which means its noise level is of 0 dB, its base is made of copper and four 6-mm heatpipes connect its base to the three arrays with 106 aluminum fins. Fanless 330 weights 9.17 oz (260 g) and should reach the market in a few weeks. No word on pricing yet. Below you can see the graphic cards supported by this new Thermaltake passive cooler.

Noctua Presents Cooler for Intel Core i7 CPUs

Austria-based cooling specialist Noctua has just announced the launch of NH-U12P SE1366, a special edition version of other Noctua’s cooler, NH-U12P, compatible with forthcoming Intel Core i7 processors. This cooler is equipped with two 120-mm fan rotating up to 1,300 rpm and cooper base and heat-pipes and aluminum fins. NH-U12P SE1366 will reach the market next week priced at USD 64.90.

Thermaltake has just announced its newest liquid cooling system, Bigwater 780 (CL-W0186). This system comes already pre-assembled and takes three available 5 ¼” bays of your PC case, instead of two as its little brother, Bigwater 770, which takes only two bays. Bigwater 780 is comprised by a radiator, a 120-mm fan, a pump with embedded water tank, a copper CPU block, hoses and liquid coolant, and is compatible with Intel (sockets 478/775) and AMD (sockets 939/940/AM2/AM2+) processors. No word on pricing and availability.
