Swiftech has just unveiled Apogee GTZ, a water block (part used on liquid cooling systems) made of copper and originally designed for Intel processors based on LGA775 , although you can also use it with AMD (sockets 754/939/940/AM2/AM2+) and Intel (sockets 603/604/771) processors by using optional parts sold separately (US$ 9.95). Apogee GTZ has a price tag of US$ 69.95.
Asetek’s LCLC liquid cooling solution is now available for AMD/ATI latest Radeon HD 4870 X2 video card. This kit comes already pre-assembled and has only two parts: GPU cold plates and heat exchanger. Asetek says that this product can lower Radeon HD 4870 GPUs working temperature as much as 28°C. Asetek Low Cost Liquid Cooling (LCLC) is targeted to OEMs and cannot be found on retail.
Gelid has just unveiled Wing, a fans series for case designed for gamers and modders. Available in three sizes (80 mm, 90 mm and 120 mm), Wing fans feature a patented Nanoflux bearing (NFB), which expands fans’ lifespan and reduces noise level. Wing fans are UV sensitive, a voltage regulator allows the user to adjust the fan speed and they’re waterproof and dustproof. The following models were launched:
Sparkle has launched Calibre Fly (VDT2000), a VGA cooler compatible with several graphics cards from nVidia and AMD/ATI. This cooler has two heat-pipes made of cooper and two 80-mm fans with fan speed of 3,000 rpm. Information about price and availability wasn’t disclosed. Bellow you can see the graphics cards supported by this cooler.
Thermaltake has just launched a memory cooler designed for DDR and DDR2 modules, called RamOrd (CL-R0029). This cooler has a 6 mm heat-pipe connecting its heatspread to the cooler’s aluminum fins. This product uses a 50-mm fan that works at 4,500 rpm. RamOrb is also angle adjustable for enhancing mechanical compatibility. The cooler weights 136 g (4.80 oz) and it produces a 20 dBA noise level.
Arctic Cooling has just launched Alpine 64 GT, a simple CPU cooler designed for AMD processors based on AM2+/AM2/939/754 sockets. This cooler has an 80-mm fan which speed is automatically controlled (500-2,000 rpm) by the system. Alpine 64 GT weight 295 g (10.40 oz) and its MSRP is of USD 10.95.
Spire has launched SilverBlaze (SP251S2), a VGA cooler compatible with several nVidia graphics cards including GeForce 6800/7000/7800/7900/8000/8800/9000/GTX200 series. This cooler has one 80-mm fan can spin at 2,000 rpm making a noise level of 26.0 dBA. Information about price and availability wasn’t disclose.
V1 AX (CL-P0508) is a CPU cooler designed for Intel (socket 775) and AMD (socket 940/AM2/AM2+) processors that has been recently launched by Thermaltake. Its base is made of copper with four heat-pipes connecting its base to two cooler’s structures featuring aluminum fins. Between these structures there is a 110-mm fan that glows in blue when the system is turned on. The fan speed can be manually-adjustable (1.300 rpm to 2,000 rpm) thru a knob that can be installed on the back of the case in any available expansion slot. V1 AX weight 14,81 oz (420 g) and has the following dimensions: 147 mm x 92 mm x 143 mm (L x W x H). Its MSRP isn’t available yet.
Koolance has just launched two cooling blocks for AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4800 graphics cards: VID-485 (design for Radeon HD 4850) and VID-487 (design for Radeon HD 4870). Both blocks are made of nickel-plated copper, their dimensions are 6.25" x 5.75" x 0.62" (15.9 cm x 14.6 cm x 1.6 cm), weight 1.5 pounds (680g), they have an acrylic lid allowing coolant visibility under the logo and are priced at US$ 92.99.
Danamics has just launched LM10, a CPU cooler completely different from regular ones. It has an electromagnetic pump that circulates liquid-metal across the cooler’s fins. This liquid-metal has higher thermal conductivity than other cooling liquids. LM10 is compact, has no moving parts and others components traditionally used in watercooling solutions such as hoses, reservoirs and radiators. You can also install up to two fans on this cooler. This product will be available soon. Its MSRP isn't available yet.
