Scythe Releases Setsugen VGA Cooler

Scythe has rolled out Setsugen (SCVSG-1000), a VGA cooler compatible with several NVIDIA and AMD/ATI video cards. This cooler features a 120-mm fan with speed ranging from 800 rpm to 2,000 rpm (manually controlled), has four copper heatpipes and produces a maximum noise level of 33.67 dBA. Below you can see a list of video cards supported by this cooler. Its suggested price is of USD 39.50.

Cooler Master Presents Excalibur Fan

Cooler Master has just presented its Excalibur case fan. It is a 120-mm product featuring a barometric ball bearing (that according to the manufacturer double its life time over conventional fans) with nine sword-shaped blades that can be easily removed for cleaning and fan speed controlled via PWM ranging from 600 rpm to 2,000 rpm (producing a maximum noise level 30 dBA). No word on pricing and availability.

Spire launched today TherMax Eclipse CPU cooler. The product is compatible with Intel (sockets 775, 1156 and 1366) and AMD (sockets AM2, AM3, 940 and 939) processors, has five 8-mm copper heatpipes, 57 aluminum fins and two 120-mm fans (featuring nine blades). TherMax Eclipse will reach the market by the end of next month costing USD 48.95.

Arctic Cooling has just announced the launch of the VGA Cooler celero TWIN TURBO PRO, an updated version of the cooler Accelero TWIN TURBO from the same manufacturer. Accelero TWIN TURBO PRO cooler is compatible with NVIDIA and ATI video cards, features two 92-mm fans (instead of 80-mm models like Accelero TWIN TURBO cooler) with speed controlled by the video card via PWM (1,000 rpm to 2,000 rpm), it measures 8.38” x 5.94” x 1.92” or 21.3 cm x 15.1 cm x 4.9 cm (L x W x A), weighs 0.98 lbs (446 g), has four cooper heatpipes, 35 aluminum fins and comes with pre-applied thermal grease. This new cooler from Arctic Cooling will reach the market next month costing USD 49.90. Below you can see a list of the video cards supported by this new cooler.

Noctua Announces NH-U9B SE2 CPU Cooler

Noctua has just announced an updated version of their NH-U9B CPU cooler, called NH-U9B SE2. This new cooler comes with two 92-mm fan with speed of 1,600 rpm (the original version has only one fan), has cooper base, four heatpipes and supports Intel (sockets 1366, 1156 and 775) and AMD (sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3) processors. NH-U9B SE2 cooler will reach the market soon costing USD 54.90.

Spire has rolled out G12T (SP312), a cooler compatible with laptops featuring displays from 10” to 17”. This copper cooler has one 200-mm fan (1,400 rpm), is powered via a USB port (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and measures 12.83” x 10.55” x 1.06” or 32.6 cm x 26.8 cm x 2.76 mm (L x W x H). No word on pricing.

Gelid has launched its newest CPU cooler, Tranquillo (CC-TranQ-01-A). Compatible with Intel (sockets 775, 1366 and 1156) and AMD (754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) processors, this new cooler from Gelid weights 1.42 lbs (645 g), has copper base, four copper heatpipes, aluminum fins and one 120-mm fan with speed ranging from 750 rpm to 1,500 rpm via PWM producing a maximum noise level of 25.5 dBA. Gelid Tranquillo cooler has a suggested price of USD 38.

Noctua Intros NH-D14 Premium CPU Cooler

Noctua has officially launched NH-D14 Premium, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (sockets 1366, 1156 and 775) and AMD (sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3) processors. This cooler measures 6.30” x 5.51” x 6.22” or 16 cm x 14 cm x 15.8 cm (H x W x D), has six copper heatpipes and two aluminum heatsinks equipped with two fans, one of 140-mm (NF-P14; 1,300 rpm) and one of 120 mm (NF-P12; 1,200 rpm). NH-D14 Premium will be available by mid-November at a recommended retail price of USD 84.90.

Noctua Announces 140-mm Fan

Noctua expanded its Premium fan series with the launch of a 140-mm model (NF-P14 FLX). This new fan comes with an adapter allowing you to change fan speed (1,200 rpm, 900 rpm or 750 rpm; maximum noise level of 19.6 dBA) and its blades are “cut” in order to improve air flow. NF-P14 FLX will reach the market next month costing USD 24.90.
