Spire Launches TherMax Eclipse II CPU Cooler

Spire has just announced the launch of their newest CPU cooler, TherMax Eclipse II (SP984B1-V2). Compatible with AMD (sockets AM2/AM3/939/940) and Intel (sockets 775/1156/1366) processors, this new cooler features an aluminum heatsink and five 8-mm copper heatpipes that make direct contact with the processor. TherMax Eclipse II CPU cooler is equipped with two 120-mm fans with speed (2,200 rpm max; 29 dBA max) controlled manually through an external device installed on one of the expansion slots available on the computer case. This cooler is available now for USD 52.99.

Thermaltake Launches Frio CPU Cooler

Thermaltake has just launched a CPU cooler specially designed for overclockers. Called Frio (CLP0564), this cooler is compatible with Intel (sockets 1366, 1156 and 775) and AMD (sockets AM3, AM2+ and AM2) processors, features aluminum and copper base and five 8-mm heatipipes connects the base to the cooler’s aluminum fins. The cooler has a 120-mm fan with speed ranging from 1,200 rpm to 2,500 rpm producing a maximum noise level of 43 dBA. You can also install an optional 120 mm fan (that comes with the product) to improve the air flow. This cooler measures 6.49” x 3.85” x 5.47” or 16.5 cm x 9.8 cm x 13.9 cm (H x W x D), weighs 2.29 lbs (1,042 g) and is priced at USD 59.99.

Nexus Announces VCT-9000 CPU Cooler

Nexus has announced the launch of VCT-9000, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (sockets 1366/1156/775) and AMD (sockets AM2/AM3) processors. This cooler features five heatpipes (one 8-mm and four 6-mm) that make direct contact with the processor, its aluminum fans are divided in three layers (or steps, like a small ladder), and a 120-mm fan (blue LED; 500 rpm to 1,600 rpm; maximum noise level of 22 dBA) in charge of cooling the product. This fan is placed at a 25.73 degree angle for a better performance. VCT-9000 will reach the market next month, but its price was not revealed.

NZXT Unveils Line of Premium Cables and Case Fans

NZXT has launched a line of premium cables and case fans. The premium cable line consists of VGA, PSU and HDD cables that are individually sleeved in a black enclosure. NZXT's line of case fans includes 120-mm, 140-mm and 200-mm models (no word on speed, noise level or airflow). The new NZXT fans and cables are set to start selling this month at prices going from USD 2.99 to USD 14.99.

Scythe has announced the launch of Grand Kama Cross (SCKC-2000) CPU cooler. It is compatible with Intel (sockets 478, 775, 1156 and 1366) and AMD (sockets 754, 939, AM2, AM2+, AM3 and 940) processors, has nickel-plated copper base, six copper heatpipes, aluminum fins and a 140-mm fan with speed controlled via PWM between 500 rpm and 1,300 rpm (maximum noise level of 24.7 dBA and maximum air flow of 69.93 cfm). Scythe Grand Kama Cross cooler measures 6.97” x 5.51” x 5.39” or 17.7 cm x 14 cm x 13.7 cm, weighs 26.46 oz (750 g) and has a suggested price of USD 45.

CoolIT Introduces New Liquid Cooling Products

CoolIT has introduced three new liquid cooling products, two for processors and one for video cards. ECO A.L.C. is a liquid cooling solution for processors comprised with a copper block, a pump and one radiator equipped with a 120-mm fan (1,800 rpm). This product is now available for USD 74.99. VANTAGE A.L.C. is also a liquid cooling system for processors like the abovementioned ECO A.L.C. (i.e. it has a copper block, pump and radiator), but its fan is controlled via PWM between 1,100 rpm and 2,500 rpm. VANTAGE A.L.C. has also an LCD display (84x48) and is compatible with Maestro, another new product from CoolIT that allows users to control the cooler wirelessly (the cooler has a built-in 2.4 GHz wireless communication module). VANTAGE A.L.C. will reach the market next month costing USD 124.99. And finally we have OMNI A.L.C., which is a universal liquid cooling solution for video cards. Usually liquid cooling systems are designed for one specific video card model. But with CoolIT OMNI you can install it with a wide range of video cards by just replacing an interposer plate compatible with your video card. OMNI A.L.C. can also be controlled wirelessy and its radiator comes with a 120-mm or 240-mm fan. CoolIT didn’t inform this cooler’s pricing or release date.

As we mentioned above, VANTAGE and OMNI systems can be controlled wirelessy through a device called Maestro. This device comes equipped with software for Windows XP and above, an ESP Control Node, a USB wireless controller, an external temperature sensor and a strip of 9 RGB LEDs capable of 16 million colors. Maestro is now available for USD 89.99.

Dubbed Speaker Lapdesk N700, this device is compatible with laptops featuring displays of up to 16”, has USB connectivity, two built-in speakers and a fan that produces a noise level of 31 dBA and an air flow of 6 cfm. Speaker Lapdesk N700 will reach in the USA next month costing USD 79.99.

Titan Releases Notebook Cooler

Titan strikes again with the launch of one more notebook cooler, G9T (TTC-G9TZ). This aluminum cooler is compatible with laptops featuring displays up to 15”, has two 80-mm fans (1,500 rpm), on/off button, is powered via a USB port (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and measures 13.38” x 9” x 1.65” or 34 cm x 23 cm x 4.2 cm (W x D x H). No word on pricing.

Gelid has launched two 120-mm case fans (called Wing 12 PL) featuring a blue or green LED and with speed ranging from 600 rpm to 1,800 rpm (via PWM) producing a maximum noise level of 26.8 dBA. Wing 12 PL fans feature a patented Nanoflux bearing (NFB), which expands fans’ lifespan and reduces noise level. These fans are priced at USD 19.
