Spire has rolled out G12T (SP312), a cooler compatible with laptops featuring displays from 10” to 17”. This copper cooler has one 200-mm fans (1,400 rpm), is powered via a USB port (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and measures 12.83” x 10.55” x 1.06” or 32.6 cm x 26.8 cm x 2.76 mm (L x W x H). No word on pricing.

Gelid has launched its newest CPU cooler, Tranquillo (CC-TranQ-01-A). Compatible with Intel (sockets 775, 1366 and 1156) and AMD (754, 939, 940, AM2, AM2+ and AM3) processors, this new cooler from Gelid weights 1.42 lb (645 g), has copper base, four copper heatpipes, aluminum fins and one 120-mm fan with speed ranging from 750 rpm to 1,500 rpm via PWM producing a maximum noise level of 25.5 dBA. Gelid Tranquillo cooler has a suggested price of USD 38.

Cooling Noctua has officially launched NH-D14 Premium, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (sockets 1366, 1156 and 775) and AMD (sockets AM2, AM2+ and AM3) processors. This cooler measures 6.30” x 5.51” x 6.22” or 16 cm x 14 cm x 15.8 cm (H x W x D), has six copper heatpipes and two aluminum heatsinks equipped with two fans, one of 140-mm (NF-P14; 1,300 rpm) and one of 120 mm (NF-P12; 1,200 rpm). NH-D14 Premium will be available by mid-November at a recommended retail price of USD 84.90.

Noctua Announces 140-mm Fan

Noctua expanded its Premium fan series with the launch of a 140-mm model (NF-P14 FLX). This new fan comes with an adapter allowing you to change fan speed (1,200 rpm, 900 rpm or 750 rpm; maximum noise level of 19.6 dBA) and its blades are “cut” in order to improve air flow. NF-P14 FLX will reach the market next month costing USD 24.90.

New Apollish Fans from Enermax

Enermax has just introduced Apollish case fan series. Available in 80-mm and 120-mm versions and in four color (silver, red, blue and green), Apollish fans shine up to four times brighter than ordinary LED fans, have a frame with reflexive finish, a magnetic bearing (which improves lifespan and produces a low noise level), detachable fan blades for easy cleaning and an integrated thermal sensor to control fan speed according to the temperature level. Below you can see the mains specs for Enermax Apollish fans:

  • 80 mm model: Fan speed between 600 and 2.100 rpm, noise level of 15 dBA (minimum), air flow between 12.48 and 33.04 CFM, price USD 15.
  • 120 mm model: Fan speed between 700 and 1.700 rpm, noise level of 15 dBA (minimum), air flow between 28.98 and 71.76 CFM, price USD 20.
