Early this year AMD launched two “new” video cards targeted at OEMs: Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750. But these video cards were not new as one might suppose. They were, in fact, a Radeon HD 5770 and a HD 5750 rebranded, respectively. Today AMD confirmed that Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750 are now available in the retail market. The Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750 are identical in terms of performance to the Radeon HD 5770 and HD 5750, respectively, since they have the same specs. The only difference between them is the support for HDMI 1.4a on the HD 6700 models. The Radeon HD 6770 works internally at 850 MHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4.8 GHz through a 128-bit interface, and comes with 800 processors. The Radeon HD 6750 works internally at 700 MHz, has 1 GB of GDDR5 memory accessed at 4.6 GHz through a 128-bit interface, and comes with 720 processors. Information on pricing was not provided.
