Noctua has launched NF-S12B, a 120-mm with “bite” blades to reduce noise level and increase air flow. According to Noctua this blade design increases air flow by 10% compared to standard fans. NF-S12B is available in two versions: NF-S12B FLX, fan speed of 1,200 rpm, 900 rpm or 600 rpm, and NF-S12B ULN, fan speed of 700 rpm or 500 rpm. This fan is priced at USD 24.90.

MSI Launches N260GTX Lightning Video Cards

MSI has launched two factory-overclocked video cards based on nVidia GeForce GTX 260 GPU. N260GTX Lightning and N260GTX Lightning Black Edition work internally at 680 MHz (18.06% above default clock of 576 MHz), have 1,792 MB GDDR3 (reference model has only 896 MB) being accessed at 2,100 MHz DDR (5.11% above default clock of 1,998 MHz DDR), solid caps, voltage regulator circuit with 10 phases (8 phases are reserved for the GPU and 2 phases for the memory) and a Twin Frozr cooling system (two fans/five heatpipes). N260GTX Lightning Black Edition also comes with a 5 ¼” external touch panel that can change the card's voltages and clock speeds on the fly. No word on pricing and availability.

CPU Intel has extended its Core 2 Quad line-up with the launch of two models: Q8400 and Q8400S. Both use 45-nm technology, work internally at 2.66 GHz, work externally at 1,333 MHz, have 4 MB L2 cache and 95 W and 65 W TDP, respectively.

Sparkle has announced the launch of GeForce GTX 275 Plus, a factory-overclocked video card based on the newest nVidia GeForce GTX 275 GPU. Working internally at 648 MHz (2.37% above default clock of 633 MHz), this card accesses its 896 MB GDDR3 at 2,304 MHz DDR (1.59% above default clock of 2,268 MHz DDR) thru a 448-bit interface, its 240 shader processors work at 1,440 MHz (2.56% above default clock of 1,404 MHz) and supports 3-way SLI. Sparkle GeForce GTX 275 Plus also features two DVI and is a dual-slot solution. No word on pricing and availability.

Lian Li Releases Notebook Cooler

Lian Li has rolled out NC-09, a cooler compatible with laptops featuring 12.1”, 14”, 15” or 17” display. This aluminum anodized cooler has a 220-mm fan (that glows in blue), two USB ports, one mini-USB connector (that can be used by 5 V cell phone chargers), is powered via a USB port (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and can be adjusted with three different height levels. NC-09 measures 15.74” x 13.26” x 1.33” (W x D x H) and will probably reach the market by the end of next month costing USD 70.

Thermaltake Launches Universal Laptop Charger

Thermaltake has officially launched Toughpower Ultra Slim 65W (we’ve already seen this product during CES 2009), a universal laptop charger. The product measures 2.95” x 7” x 5.5” or 7.5 cm x 17.8 cm x 14 cm (W x H x D), weights 8.56 oz (214 g), provides above 82% efficiency and has 115 V/230 V auto voltage selection. It comes with a series of eight different power plugs in order to match several different notebook models and a switch for you to select the output voltage between 15 V and 21 V to allow you to feed practically all laptops available on the market. Toughpower Ultra Slim 65W also provides protections against over current, over voltage and short-circuit. Thermaltake didn’t say when and for how much it will reach the market.

D-Link has launched its newest PowerLine HD adapters, which provide Ethernet connections using electrical wiring in your home. So no additional cables are necessary. Just plug the PowerLine HD adapter into an existing AC outlet and a networking equipment (switch, computer, NAS, gaming consoles, etc) on it to build a networking. The maximum transfer rate is of 200 Mbps. PowerLine HD adapters implement 3DES encryption for securing your connection to help keeping your data safe from intruders. ASUS has introduced VENTO TA-M2, a mid-tower case equipped with four 5 ¼” external bays, one 3 ½” external bay, four 3 ½” internal bays, seven slots for expansion cards (using tool-less mechanisms) and a top panel with two USB ports, audio connectors and a eSATA port (optional). Microsoft has announced its newest member within SideWinder gaming product family, SideWinder X3 mouse. With an ambidextrous design and eight buttons (five of them programmable), this optical USB 2.0 mouse has three dpi configurations (400 dpi, 800 dpi and 2,000 dpi) and supports acceleration of up to 20 G. According to Microsoft SideWinder X3 mouse will reach the market next month costing USD 39.95.

Featuring Atom N280 processor (1.66 GHz) and 10” display (native resolution of 1024x600) netbooks from this new series are available with 1 GB or 2 GB RAM, 80 GB, 120 GB or 160 GB hard disk drive, 1.3 or 2 Mpixels webcam and 3- or 6-cell battery. Lian Li Launches ARMORSUIT PC-P50 Gaming Case

Lian Li has just unveiled its newest gaming case within ARMORSUIT series, PC-P50. It is an aluminum mid-tower case equipped with nine 5 ¼” external bays, three 3 ½” internal bays (taking 5 ¼” bays), eight slots for expansion cards, one 120-mm frontal fan (speed of 1,200 rpm), two 120-mm top fans (speed of 1,000 rpm), one 120-mm rear fan (speed of 1,500 rpm), two USB ports and audio connectors. PC-P50 also features tool-less mechanism for expansion card installation, watercooling support and a removable anti-vibration HDD cage to avoid natural vibration produced by the hard drive propagating to the chassis. According to the manufacturer this case will reach the market by the end of this month in two flavors: standard (USD 170) and AMD-themed version (USD 240).

Thermaltake Announces V14AX CPU Cooler

Thermaltake has announced the launch of V14AX (CL-P0523), a CPU cooler designed for Intel (sockets 775/1366) and AMD (sockets AM2/AM2+) processors. Its base is made of copper with six heat-pipes connecting it to the two structures featuring aluminum fins. Between these structures there is a 140-mm fan that glows in blue when the system is turned on. The fan speed can be manually adjusted (1,000 rpm to 1,600 rpm) thru a knob that can be installed on the back of the case in any available expansion slot. V14AX weight 1.39 lb (631 g) and has the following dimensions: 6.33” x 3.93” x 6.73” or 161 mm x 100 mm x 171 mm (L x W x H). This cooler will reach the market soon priced at USD 59.
