MSI has launched N285GTX HydroGen, a factory-overclocked video card based on nVidia GeForce GTX 285 GPU that comes with an all-copper waterblock (part used on watercooling systems). This card works internally at 702 MHz (8.33% above default clock of 648 MHz), accesses its 1 GB GDDR3 at 2,600 MHz DDR (8.33% above default clock of 2,400 MHz DDR) thru a 512-bit interface and supports 3-way SLI, CUDA and PhysX technologies. N285GTX HydroGen has two DVI and one S-Video connectors. No word on pricing and availability.

PeeWee has announced the launch of PeeWee Pivot Tablet Laptop, a netbook designed for kids aged 3-10. This product is equipped with Intel Atom N270 (1.6 GHz) processor, has 1 GB RAM, 60 GB hard disk, 8.9” touch screen LCD display (native resolution of 1024x600) that can be rotated turning the netbook into a Tablet PC, Fast Ethernet (100 Mbps), Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, built-in 1.3 Mpixel webcam, card reader (SD/MMC), 6-cell battery and comes with Windows XP operating system installed. PeeWee Pivot Tablet Laptop weights 3 lbs (1.36 Kg), measures 9.5" x 7.5" x 1.5" or 24.13 x 19.05 x 3.81 cm (W x H x D) and costs USD 599.99.

Arctic Cooling Launches Accelero L2 Pro VGA Cooler

Arctic Cooling has unveiled Accelero L2 Pro, a VGA cooler compatible with several nVidia and ATI video cards. This cooler features a 92-mm fan with speed controlled by the video card via PWM (900 rpm to 2,000 rpm), measures 4.68” x 3.7” x 2” or 11.9 x 9.4 x 5.1 cm (L x W x H), weights 8.8 oz (250 g) and comes with pre-applied thermal grease. Accelero L2 Pro will reach the market next June costing USD 16. Below you can see the video cards supported by this new Arctic Cooling product.

Cooler Master Unleashes HAF 922 Case

Cooler Master has just officially launched HAF 922, a steel mid-tower case equipped with five 5 ¼” external bays (one of them could be converted to 3 ½” bay), five 3 ½” internal bays, one 3 ½” external bay, seven slots for expansion cards, one 200-mm frontal fan (700 rpm / 19 dBA), one 200-mm top fan (700 rpm / 19 dBA), one 120-mm rear fan (1,200 rpm / 17 dBA), one 120- or 140-mm bottom fan (optional) and one 120- or 140-mm side fan (optional). This case also comes with two USB ports, one eSATA port, audio connectors, watercooling support and tool-less mechanisms. No word on pricing and availability.

Arctic Cooling has just launched Alpine 64 Pro, a simple CPU cooler designed for AMD processors based on AM3/AM2+/AM2/939 sockets. This cooler has a 92-mm fan where the speed is automatically controlled (500-2,000 rpm) by the motherboard via PWM. Alpine 64 Pro weight 428 g (15.09 oz) and will likely reach the market next month costing USD 10.90.

CPU Paired with the launch of Radeon HD 4770, AMD has rolled out Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition, a 65-nm dual-core processor clocked at 2,8 GHz featuring 1 MB L2 cache, 2 MB L3 cache, 3.6 GHz HyperTransport bus and a TDP of 95 W. By being a “Black Edition” model, this new processor has its clock multiplier unlocked and thus targeted to overclockers. Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition has a suggested price of USD 69 (at 1,000-units).

AMD/ATI Launches Radeon HD 4770

Video AMD/ATI launched today Radeon HD 4770, its first GPU built on 40 nm process. Radeon HD 4770 works internally at 750 MHz, accesses its 512 MB GDDR5 at 3,200 MHz DDR (800 MHz real) thru a 128-bit interface, has 640 shader units, supports Shader 4.1 programming model (DirectX 10.1) and CrossFireX and Unified Video Decoder v2.0 technologies. This card also comes with two DVI connectors and takes two slots on the computer case. Radeon HD 4770 is priced at USD 100.

CPU AMD has launched two quad-cores Phenom II processors: Phenom X4 955 Black Edition (3.2 GHz) and Phenom X4 945 (3 GHz). Both are manufactured under 45 nm process, are based on AM3 platform, have 6 MB L3 cache, 4 GHz HyperTransport bus, built-in DDR3 memory controller and TDP of 125 W. Black Edition model has its clock multiplier unlocked and thus targeted to overclockers. Phenom X4 955 Black Edition is priced at USD 245 (at 1,000-units) and Phenom X4 945 is priced at USD 225 (at 1,000-units).

Noctua has launched NF-S12B, a 120-mm with “bite” blades to reduce noise level and increase air flow. According to Noctua this blade design increases air flow by 10% compared to standard fans. NF-S12B is available in two versions: NF-S12B FLX, fan speed of 1,200 rpm, 900 rpm or 600 rpm, and NF-S12B ULN, fan speed of 700 rpm or 500 rpm. This fan is priced at USD 24.90.
