Patriot has announced the launch of a myriad of unbuffered DDR3-DIMM memory modules with ECC specially designed for servers. See them bellow:

  • PSD32G10662E: 2 GB memory module clocked at 1,066 MHz with ECC.
  • PSD32G13332E: 2 GB memory module clocked at 1,333 MHz with ECC.
  • PSD34G1333EK: 4 GB dual-channel kit (2 x 2 GB) clocked at 1,333 MHz with ECC.
  • PSD34G1066EK: 4 GB dual-channel kit (2 x 2 GB) clocked at 1,066 MHz with ECC.
  • PSA34G1066EK: 4 GB dual-channel kit (2 x 2 GB) for Apple computers clocked at 1,066 MHz.
  • PSD36G1066EK: 6 GB triple-channel kit (3 x 2 GB) clocked at 1,066 MHz with ECC.

ASUS Launches Xonar DS 7.1 Sound Card

ASUS has expanded its Xonar line-up with the launch of Xonar DS 7.1 sound card. Based on PCI bus, this sound card provides 7.1 audio, has a 192 KHz sampling rate, 24-bit resolution, 107 dB signal/noise rate (SNR) and supports VocalFX, EAX and DTS Connect technologies. No word on pricing and availability.

PowerColor has announced the launch of Radeon HD 4890 PCS++, a factory-overclocked video card based on AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4890 GPU equipped with a cooling solution designed by ZEROtherm. This card works internally at 1,010 MHz (18.82% above default clock of 850 MHz), accesses its 1 GB GDDR5 at 4.4 GHz DDR (12.82% above default clock of 3.9 GHz DDR) thru a 256-bit interface, has two DVI and one S-Video connectors, uses solid caps and low RDS(on) MOSFET (which improves video card quality and thus its overclocking potential), and comes with a full version of the game Battle Forge Edition (optional). Sapphire Intros Radeon HD 4890 Atomic Edition

Sapphire has extended its Atomic Edition line-up with the launch of Radeon HD 4890 Atomic Edition, a limited edition video card targeted to gamers. This factory-overclocked card is based on AMD/ATI Radeon HD 4890 GPU, works internally at 1 GHz (17.65% above default clock of 850 MHz), accesses its 1 GB GDDR5 at 4.2 GHz DDR (7.69% above default clock of 3.9 GHz DDR) thru a 256-bit interface, features Vapor-X cooler, has two DVI and one S-Video connectors and comes inside a James Bond-like briefcase. Corsair Launches 256 GB SSD Drive

Corsair has officially launched its highest-capacity SSD drive, the P256 (CMFSSD-256GBG2D). Holding up to 256 GB of data, this new Corsair SSD drive has a 128 MB buffer, SATA-300 interface, supports Native Command Queuing (NCQ) technology and provides read and write speeds of up to 220 MB/s and 200 MB/s, respectively. No word on pricing.

NZXT Releases Notebook Cooler

NZXT has unveiled Cryo S, a cooler compatible with laptops with up to 15” displays. This brushed aluminum cooler has two 120-mm fans, two USB ports, is powered via a USB port (thus no batteries or power adapters are necessary) and features an anti-slip rubberized plastic surface to avoid notebooks from sliding. Cryo S will reach the market this month costing USD 50.

New CPU Cooler From Kingwin

Kingwin has recently introduced XT-1264, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (sockets 1366/775) and AMD (sockets AM2/754/939/940) processors. This cooler features a 120-mm fan (with fan speed controlled by the motherboard via PWM between 700 rpm and 2,300 rpm; maximum noise level of 28 dBA; maximum air flow of 101.2 CFM), has four copper heatpipes that make direct contact with the processor and weights 1.02 lb (467g). Unfortunately information on pricing hasn’t been disclosed.

Gigabyte Launches GeForce 9800 GT With Passive Cooling

Gigabyte has just launched GV-N98TSL-1GI, a video card based on nVidia GeForce 9800 GT GPU. This card uses GeForce 9800 GT reference clocks (internal clock of 600 MHz, memory clock of 1,800 MHz DDR), has 1 GB GDDR3, features a passive cooling solution called Silent-Cell (copper base and three heatpipes) and supports Ultra Durable VGA technology, which increases the quality and durability (and of course, overclocking capability) from Gigabyte video cards by including special components like Japonese aluminum solid caps, low RDS(on) MOSFET transistors, ferrite chokes, printed circuit board using a 2 oz (57 g) copper layer and Samsung or Hynix memory chips. No word on pricing.

Cooler Master Announces Hyper TX3 CPU Cooler

Cooler Master has just announced the launch of Hyper TX3, a CPU cooler compatible with Intel (sockets 775/1156) and AMD (sockets 754/939/940/AM2/AM3) processors. This cooler has a 92-mm fan (with speed controlled by the motherboard via PWM between 800 rpm and 2,800 rpm; minimum noise level of 17 dBA; maximum air flow of 54.8 CFM), support another 92-mm fan and has three copper heatpipes that make direct contact with the processor. Hyper TX3 weights 1.03 lbs (470 g) and should reach the market next month costing USD 19.99.
