NVidia has announced a new chipset for motherboard. The nForce 680i LT SLI chipset can be used with Intel processors and, according to the company, it is engineered for extreme gamers.
The platform supports 1333 MHz FSB processors including Intel Core 2 Quad, Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme, Dual x16 PCI Express slots with support for NVIDIA SLI multi-GPU technology, RAID 5, RAID Morphing, and networking packet prioritization for clear VOIP and improved online gaming experiences, says the release.
Nvidia's reference motherboard includes four DDR2-800 and the DIMM slot, offering a maximum capacity of 8 GB
It will be available for under USD 200.
