AMD/ATI introduced the Radeon HD 3800 Series of graphics processing units. As the world's first series of graphics processors to deliver Microsoft's DirectX 10.1 support, 55nm process technology and tri and quad multi-GPU support with ATI CrossFireX. Two variants of the family will be launched at this moment: the Radeon HD 3850 features 256MB of GDDR3 memory and has prices from USD 179; and the Radeon HD 3870 with 512MB GDDR4 memory will cost from USD 219.
The new models has Unified Video Decoder (UVD), which ensures exceptional platform efficiency and image quality in HD-DVD and Blu-ray decoding for both H.264 and VC-1 specifications. Enhanced HDMI functionality also continues on this series of products with integrated HDCP and audio for HDMI video.

Tempest revealed their new motherboards i5400 S5397, S5393, S5396, and S5392, which support Intel’s Xeon 5400 processor.
Designed to be a high-performance platform, the Tempest i5400 S5397 has a 1600/1333MHz front side bus, sixteen FBDIMM 533/667/800 memory slots providing up to 128 GB of system memory capacity. With two high-speed x16 PCI-E Gen 2 expansion slots, it can support an I/O expansion card or graphics card. With onboard Firewire 1394, this board is an excellent graphics rendering platform.
The Tempest S5393, features eight FBDIMM-533/667/800 memory slots and will support, the new high-speed Gen 2 (x16) PCI Express standard.
The S5396 features a total of eight memory slots, two high-speed Gen 2 (x16) PCI-E expansion slot capabilities, and onboard Firewire 1394 interface. The Tempest S5392 is equipped with four memory slots and a single Gen 2 x16 PCI Express expansion slot.

Transcend launched the JetFlash T3, an ultra-tiny USB flash drive. It measures only 30.2mm x 12.3mm x 2.4mm (L x W x D) and weighs 2 g. Most of the tiny USB flash drives are fragile and bend or break easily, but TRanscend guarantees that the JetFlash T3 is designed to be extra-rugged. OCZ announced the ReaperX memory series, a memory solution that utilizes a heat transfer technology. The DDR2 PC2-6400 ReaperX uses a dual metal heatpipe formation to offload heat and increase stability of memory modules. Each memory chip is in direct contact with a thermo-conductive pipe so the heat is quickly dissipate through the aluminum fin array, guarantees OCZ. GlacialTech launched the IGLOO 5710 Silent and IGLOO 5710 PWM CPU cooler. The design incorporates a combination of three pipes that dissipate the heat from the CPU directly into the heatsink fins. The Silent version has a low decibel (19dB), high volume (35.8 cfm) fan which is 92mmx92mmx25mm in dimension and runs at 1600 rpm.
The PWM version has an adjustable speed fan which ranges from 800~2600rpm, with a maximum volume throughput of 51.6cfm. The fan at full speed puts out 29 dB maximum.
Both coolers support AMD or Intel processors. The Intel CPU models supported are: all Celerons, Pentium D 3.4GHz, Prescott 3.4GHz, Core 2 Duo E6700 2.66GHz, Core 2 Duo E6800 2.93GHz, Core 2 Duo QX6700/6800/6850, Core2 Quad Processor Q6600/6700, Core2 Quad Processor Q6600.
The AMD CPU models supported are: Sempron, Athlon 64, Athlon 64 FX, Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon X2 Dual-Core, Opteron, Dual-Core Opteron, Second-Generation Opteron, Third-Generation Opteron.
