Members of the MKxx61GSY family are available in 160 GB, 250 GB, 320 GB, 500 GB, and 640 GB capacities, have a SATA-300 interface, 16 MB buffer, seek time of 12 ms, and maximum noise level of 26 dBA, and are targeted to the notebook market. The MKxx61GSYB family includes models of 80 GB, 160 GB, 250 GB, and 500 GB with a SATA-300 interface, 16 MB buffer, seek time of 10.5 ms, and a maximum noise level of 26 dBA, and are targeted to the networking market (routers, switches, servers, etc). Toshiba has started shipping the MKxx61GSY models, with volume production scheduled in the third quarter of 2010.
