The company is promoting it as an ”eco-responsible“ product, since it has a maximum power consumption of only 70 watts. The 90-nm 1.2 GHz UltraSPARC T1 will be available before the end of 2005 in Sun Fire servers mainly aimed at Web serving and e-commerce applications.
