These new drives come in a 2.5” form factor, feature MLC memory chips, SATA-300 interface, have a built-in DDR2 cache memory, and provide a maximum read and write speeds of up to 250 MB/s and 230 MB/s, respectively. Silicon Power’s E20 drives also have current sensors to detect fluctuating or abnormal current in order to protect your data, and SMART (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology), a technology to monitor the health of your SSD drive.
