PowerColor has announced an upgraded version of its Radeon HD 5870 LCS video card, which now comes with better overclocking capabilities. The new card works internally at 950 MHz (11.76% above stock clock of 850 MHz), accesses its 1 GB GDDR5 at 4.8 GHz QDR (the same as stock clock) thru a 256-bit interface, has HDMI, DisplayPort, and dual-DVI connectors, and features a waterblock (for watercooling systems) from EK. The previous overclocked version of this card ran at 875 MHz (2.94% overclock) with a memory speed of 5 GHz QDR (4.17% overclock). The new card also comes with a coupon for free download of the game DiRT2. There’s no word on pricing or availability.
