Panasonic Announces Toughpad A1 and B1 Tablets

Both devices were designed to withstand extreme conditions and will be launched next year. They run on the Android operating system.  The Toughpad A1 features a 1.2 GHz dual-core Marvell processor, 16 GB of storage space, 1 GB of LP-DDR2 memory, a 10.1-inch XGA touchscreen display (1024x768), a microSD card slot, a micro USB port, a micro HDMI port, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, GPS, 4G (LTE or WiMAX), and a battery that provides up to 10 hours of operation. The Toughpad A1 will start at USD 1,299.
