XMP technology allows memory modules to negotiate with the motherboard chipset the best latencies and highest clock rate they can work in order to provide the highest possible performance. This technology is only supported by motherboards based on Intel's upcoming X38 chipset. The first products from OCZ to support XMP technology are OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Intel XMP Ready Titanium Edition modules, which are able to run at 1,600 MHz with 8-8-8 or 7-6-6 timings and are available in 1 GB and 2 GB kits.
